Famous for affordable Premium Dry-Aged cuts, aged and butchered in-house, and hard-to-find Specialty Butcher cuts.<br /><br />Conveniently located 5 minutes from the Key Bridge at the Courthouse Metro, we are experts at accommodating Groups of 8-55.<br /><br />A bustling local gem, Ray's and it's sister restaurant Ray's Hell-Burger proudly serve our neighbors, Diplomats, Generals and Presidents alike, earning an esteemed 27 on Zagat's and a top place in the Washingtonian Top 100 Best Restaurants every year since 2003.

"After seeing many favorable reviews, we went to Ray's The Steak for our anniversary dinner. The host was very hurried and not the least bit friendly. Our server was friendly yet absent much of the evening. We each chose different styles and sizes of rib steak and both were disappointing. They lacked flavor and the texture was questionable. The accompanying mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were good. We ordered mushrooms which were tasty but very chewy. We shared a dark chocolate mousse which was very dense but flavorful. For the price I doubt we will return. A number of years ago we visited the old location and had a similar experience. Very disappointed."

Our raw bar features shrimp, lobster, fresh crab, king crab and oysters shucked right at the bar! Blue Sea Seafood and Bar, is owned and managed by a team of seasoned chefs and restaurant owners.

"Recently tried the new Blue Sea Seafood restaurant in Shirlington for Saturday night dinner. Although the food was very good, the restaurant has some kinks to work through. Our server was very nice, but seemed to have too many assigned tables to follow through on good service. Our tasty crab & avocado appetizer took a very long time to arrive, then entrees arrived while we were still enjoying the appetizer. Hard to fit all plates on the small table. Server asked if we wanted refills of drinks, but they never arrived. Water glasses never refilled and server too busy to notice. Entrees salmon and shrimp po'boy were both good but a bit small. May give them another try--perhaps lunch."
