Located on a unique garden plaza with romantic East River views, Riverpark represents a dynamic culinary destination in Manhattan’s Kips Bay neighborhood. Riverpark reflects Tom Colicchio's overall vision as restaurateur, and Chef Sisha Ortuzar's creative concept showcasing the restaurant's own urban farm just feet away from the kitchen. Riverpark's modern American menus change daily, highlighting seasonal ingredients from local farms, Greenmarkets and Riverpark Farm.

"Beyond the insightful and solicitous service and delicious meal, we were especially appreciative that our table for two was held for us on a Friday night when we were delayed 30 minutes by a traffic standstill. Every dish was a treat. And the birthday commemoration at the end was just right (so were the terrific desserts :)).
One suggestion - it would be great to have in the little "Parking" box at your web site (for cut & paste) more precise directions to the garage, to include how to go from the FDR Drive, as well as the name of the building, as it is a tricky area -- the complimentary parking is a wonderful perk, when successful in finding it. :)

"Main courses we had - lomo saltado, tilapia and rotisserie chicken - were all very good. The two salads we had, however, weren't, as the lettuce was wet in one and there wasn't much taste to either. The server was very solicitous."

"We have proudly served fine French cuisine to our SOHO neighborhood for over 20 years! We are excited about our new location in the Upper East Side". Bon Appétit.

"Lovely! We had a group of eight and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Mussels & pomme frites were a particular highlight. Save room for chocolate mousse & apple tartine."

This Old Chelsea food hall is a New York original. The Red Cat's combination of come-as-you-are sensibilities and straightforward, satisfying, and occasionally irreverent cuisine instantly establish the restaurant as a favorite with New York diners. Andy Xu runs the kitchen that's become famous for such whimsical creations as Reuben Wontons with Red Cabbage Slaw and Pan Roasted Cod with Flageolets, Moroccan Olives, Oranges and Basil Oil. Such dishes only add to the restaurant's mystique as a place for all seasons, styles and spirits. As Frank Bruni wrote in the New York Times "The Red Cat feels vaguely colonial and tavern like, except when it feels downtown-gallery cool, and apart from those moments when it feels modestly and eclectically elegant."

If you are unable to book online, please call us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.

"Greatly enjoyed everything - from the burata starter to the passion fruit sorbet finisher and everything in between, and the service."

The Scene
The Syracuse-based barbecue phenomenon plunked a sprawling roadhouse with all the familiar back-road accoutrements into an abandoned meat factory. Unfinished wood-beamed ceiling, burlap bag curtains, scattered country bric-a-brac, and an enthusiastic greeting feel worlds away from the city. The roll call of devotees includes area families, couples on casual dates and groups of Columbia students.

The Food
Though fried green tomatoes and punchy boiled shrimp start things off right, the smell of smoking meats quickly adjusts the focus. The smokey-sweet pork ribs gently release from the bone and the Texas brisket, a touch dry, gets a lift from a topping of tangy cured jalapeños and a dash of hot sauce. It's even safe to venture from red meat with the truly moist and tender chicken, brined then smoked for deep flavor. With the exception of the cakey corn bread, sides keep pace, with tangy Creole potato salad and sweetened baked beans the standouts.

"Really enjoyed everything, from the kind servers to the delicious food. The only slight drawbacks were that the brisket on the combo didn't reach the flavorful level of the ribs and chicken and the salad was a bit lackluster (mixed greens and walnuts). New location is quite a cozy venue."
