DC native, Ari Gejdenson, has brought Acqua al 2, known around the world for true Tuscan cuisine, to Capitol Hill. Famous for its Bisteca alla Fiorentina, balsamic and blueberry fillets, variety of vegetarian pastas, and daily fresh fish selections, this warm and rustic restaurant offers an authentic dining experience that will transport you back to Florence.

A Member of The Francesca's Restaurant Group, La Sorella di Francesca features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio. The Sun proclaims, "La Sorella has, without question, The Best Italian Food in the Western Suburbs." Located in Naperville, the restaurant encourages the lively art of dining with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, good, rustic cooking, friendly service and fair prices.

About The Francesca’s Restaurant Group: Founded in 1992 by Restaurateur Scott Harris, Francesca’s Restaurant Group has grown from a small, welcoming Italian restaurant on Chicago’s North Clark Street to a restaurant group of three concepts across 33 locations and four states. Based in Chicago, Francesca’s Restaurant Group currently owns and operates 23 Francesca’s Restaurants, five Davanti Enoteca, and five Glazed and Infused locations.

"My new wife and I took our parents there for their first meeting. We are both foodies from DC and SF. Service was very professional and prompt. It was a bit noisy at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. The pasta dishes were great but the Pork chops a bit tough. The olive oil was excellent. Good wine list. The bill was very reasonable for 6. Parking was a small challenge given the holiday weekend and a prime dining out night. I would definitely eat there again, not 5 star but a solid place to go for good Italian when you need a break from cooking at home."
