The first chef to own his own bull, Chef David Burke's commitment to quality is evident in the USDA prime grade, hand-selected beef served in David Burke's Primehouse. The restaurant dry-ages its meats in a Himalayan salt-tiled aging room on premise. The result is perfectly marble-ized, tender beef with a rich depth of flavor. "This was my second time at this restaurant. My experience both times was very consistent. The food is excellent. And the service is phenomenal. The sides and other offerings complement the steak nicely. A very enjoyable dining experience!"

"I have been to Ronda many times and have come to expect fantastic tapas and great drinks. This week, I joined a friend for a table outdoors. The food, as always, was great. The cauliflower and albondigas were awesome. The lasagna was out of this world. But the service during this visit was so off; it was distracting. I am hoping this was a one time issue."

"This was my first time at the restaurant; though it has been recommended by friends. I must have a word with these friends. The entrees were actually quite good - pasta and tacos. But the service was lacking and salads were disappointing. My wedge was anemic and when I needed more dressing, there was not a staffer in sight. The dining room also had a very sedate - almost sterile - vibe."

Located in the former townhouse of celebrated cookbook author & television personality James Beard, the James Beard house is in the heart of New York City’s Greenwich Village. Over 20 dining events are held monthly to showcase culinary artists from around the world, featuring multi-course dinners with wine pairings prepared by guest chefs. At the historic James Beard House, you will have a truly unique dining experience. You’ll begin the evening with wines & a selection of passed hors d’oeuvre in the Greenhouse or, weather permitting, in the outdoor garden. You will then enjoy a five-course, pre-set menu prepared by the day’s featured chef, all paired with wines chosen to enhance the flavor of your meal. You will even have an opportunity to walk through the kitchen, see the chefs in action, & meet the guest chef personally. Prepaid reservations are required for all events.

"I took a friend to the Beard House to celebrate her birthday. It was the first time for both of us and I know we will be back soon. It was an incredible evening. Starting with drinks and starters in the garden, we enjoyed quail wings, a wonderful salmon dish, and a scrapple/egg combination. The only thing more exhilarating than the food was the people we met. We were surrounded by interesting dining partners in the garden and then again at our communal table. After cocktails, we were called inside, walked through the kitchen, and joined our eight fellow diners. The service was impeccable. Each of the four courses was great. And we had the chance to meet the chef after dining. A true culinary experience."
