Lyon Hall is a modern bistro serving approachable Alsatian-inspired fare, including an extensive selection of house-made charcuterie and sausages. The menu changes with the season to highlight fresh produce from local farms, as do the pastries, desserts and fresh bread. The affordable wine list focuses on French selections, while the impressive beer list offers an extensive selection of European drafts and bottles. Located in an historic art deco building in the heart of downtown Clarendon, Lyon Hall is a vibrant neighborhood spot with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Perfect for an elegant dinner in the stylish dining room, frankfurters and beer flights with friends at the lively bar, or enjoying a warm evening on the patio with a bottle of wine and selections from the dynamic cheese menu. The private room located in our mezzanine level offers a great spot for small to medium size groups enjoying a private meal or cocktail reception.

"I don't venture to Virginia very often but this place was a find. The food was amazing, lots of variety and very well-prepared. The waitstaff was okay -- they started off great but ended just okay. Very busy place and worth a visit. I'd come back."

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is the culmination of a partnership between Lettuce Entertain You and Joe's Stone Crab, the legendary seafood restaurant of Miami Beach. Joe's features an extensive selection of seafood, flown in fresh daily, to complement the world's finest Florida Stone Crab claws. Joe's features the signature 16 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon and 22 oz. New York Strip Steak. Matched with Joe's signature side dishes, dinner only gets better when capped with a slice of the famous key lime pie. Enjoy a generous cocktail in the grand bar or the tuxedo-clad service of the clubby dining room.

K Street, the road to the White House, is also the proud home to P.J. Clarke’s—the storied American Saloon with a history that dates back to the late 1800s. The original P.J. Clarke’s in Manhattan has stood beneath rows of skyscrapers for nearly 130 years, collecting famous and infamous regulars. Appreciated for the convivial ambiance and classic fare, P.J. Clarke’s is the quintessential American Saloon. In our nation’s capitol, the story continues as oak and mosaic floors, red leather banquets and walls lined with eccentric portraits and nostalgic photos contribute to a reassuring familiarity that is classic P.J.s, but also construe a distinct Washington sensibility. Seasoned bartenders make favorite classic cocktails the right way; dexterous shuckers ply the freshest shellfish at a marble topped Raw Bar; and the old-school, convivial dining room welcomes government A-listers, students and their families and visitors to our capitol.

"Had a great brunch here on Sunday. At first I felt like the menu was lacking in choices but upon second glance there was plenty to choose from. My omelet was WONDERFUL - seriously, one of the best omelets I've ever had. Our waitress was wonderful and we really enjoyed the fun atmosphere. My friend had the french toast and was very pleased."

"Everything about my experience was wonderful! The food was incredibly tasty and the service was very good as well. The ingredients were fresh and I liked the twist on some of the classics (heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella). Great experience! The carbonara is amazing and the bucchatini puttanesca to die for!"

Located in the Shaw area of D.C., Marvin combines Belgian cuisine and American comfort food with soul-inspired dishes like shrimp and grits, and is named in homage to Marvin Gaye; a huge mural of Marvin is painted on a main dining room wall. The restaurant decor gives some of the feel of a traditional local place, with a cool vibe as you enter the upstairs lounge.

"Marvin continues to be a good restaurant - good quality and great service. It is very loud and the dining room was quite full of the kitchen scent this go around. Not awful, but not great. The appetizer menu has grown and is amazing. The rooftop lounge is a hit as well! Sabena was our waitress and she was awesome!"

"Lunch was fine. I found the menu a little limited though we started with the pate and it was outstanding. Our waitress was not very attentive at all and at one point clearly forgot us. I definitely prefer this place in the evening as opposed to lunch."

The lifestyle and food culture celebrated on an estancia, a large South American vineyard estate, is the inspiration for Victor Albisu’s flagship restaurant in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The airy, 174-seat agrarian space is home to a meat-driven, wine-centric menu that is a product of Albisu’s Latin American roots and travels throughout Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.

"I've been here for lunch, happy hour and dinner and the food and drink are spectacular!! The service can definitely use some work. While the waitstaff is kind, I have had an issue with my ire reach and every time I've been here. They could use some additional training to match the high-end quality of the cuisine and restaurant overall."

"I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this restaurant. The building was charming, the staff incredibly attentive, the wine was wonderful and the food exquisite. Our waiter gave us an amazing overview on the wines as we described what we were looking for and he did not disappoint. Wow. What a gem! Sorry it took me so long to find it! I will be back and I will bring friends -- again and again!"
