Regularly topping the best-of-lists in the nation's capital, in 2011 and 2012, it was rated the top restaurant for food by Zagat as well as one of the top five restaurants for service. <br /><br />

"I went to Marcel's for my birthday this past Sunday. I was welcomed by a small shrimp type of cream brulee and bread with three different types of unique butters. I then had the scallops, followed by duck and lamb. Out of the meals, the duck rocked! The flavors were amazing and went well together, except for the cherries (I thought they were a little overwhelming and took away from the harmonious flavor of the dish.) A perfect ending was the pineapple souffle; it felt like a wonderful spring day in my mouth! Lastly, It was a very welcoming environment and I recommend this for anyone looking to have a nice meal."
