A royal feast awaits you at Re Sette, transporting guests to another era with exquisite design and elegant Southern Mediterranean cuisine. Downstairs, the 1,800-square-foot restaurant offers seating in an intimate dining room, lounge and bar. Guests enjoy a grand entrance, with a vaulted ceiling and long mahogany bar that features an expansive menu of grappa, the favored drink of Italian kings. The designs regal influences are seen throughout and conjure an opulent time: jewel-toned tapestry-covered chairs dimly lit ornate candelabras and deep Naugahyde banquettes against brick red textured walls.

"Needed to eat after theater (on 47 Street) and found ReSette on 45. We had a very friendly waiter who was not on top of us, and even though it was late, he told us to take our time. He did not bother us to get the next course, finish our wine, get out. We ordered appetizers because it was late but specials were still available. The tuna tartar was very good and fresh. It is plated with sauces done very artistically. The Caesar salad was another good choice. Not overdone on dressing, and yet tasty with fresh Romaine. We also had a shrimp, endive salad with a lovely lemon vinaigrette. The ambiance is very relaxing, and makes a special atmosphere."

"Giardinetto is a nice restaurant in an area that has few and far between nice restaurants. People want to please. We had the beef carpaccio that was probably very good, but the taste was overridden with balsamic vinegar. The Caesar salad had a tasty, creamy dressing, and the lettuce was very fresh. The pasta fresco was overcooked, but the sauce and seafood was good. The whole bronzino grilled with herbs was amongst the delectable and freshest we've had."

"When we visit Blue Fin after 10PM, it seems the server takes forever to get to the table. Following this, it takes a long time for the wine to come. Then we sit with at least two glasses of wine before the appetizer comes. Get this gist? Food is good. Portions are not over sized."

Circo offers upscale Italian fare built upon a foundation of signature Tuscan recipes from the kitchen of Maccioni matriarch Egidiana and prepared by Executive Chef Alfio Longo. The menu is served in a lively, sophisticated setting reminiscent of the old-style European circus tents which inspired the restaurant's name.<br /><br />"When we opened Circo in 1996, our business plan was simple, Dad's Hospitality, Mom's Food, run by the sons."<br /><br />Bright blue circus rings suspended with gold stars, sculptures of monkeys swinging near overhead, playful clowns dancing above the open kitchen and a ceiling hung with tapestries & trapezes all reinforce the vibrant circus theme.

"What a treat! The chef based the menu on the foods that are from the Piedmontese Region! Each dish was freshly made (pasta, too) to go along with the season. Outstanding menu, unique, new, and the dishes we had were outstanding to say the least."

"So many dishes that are outstanding. They were very obliging and divided three pasta dishes onto each plate...Each was better than the other, and we got to taste more than one!!"
