Kellari Taverna is located in the heart of New York City, three blocks from Grand Central Station, Times Square and the Theater District. The dining room decor evokes a subterranean wine cellar designed with contemporary elegance. Kellari features the traditional Greek taverna specialties, such as grilled whole fish, prime chops and meats, and an eclectic selection of contemporary Hellenic savory appetizers ("mezedes") created by our Corporate Executive Chef, Gregory Zapantis. Our menu also features a variety of Greek cheeses, baked or flamed 'Saganaki' style, as well as a selection of Raw and Marinated seafood. The Kellari dessert menu includes innovative specialties such mastiha pudding and warm sokolata with halva ice cream as as well as traditional favorites such as Baklava and Galaktoboureko. Kellari Taverna offers an extensive international wine list featuring the largest selection of Greek wines available in any U.S. restaurant. About 24 wines are available by-the-glass.

"We have been going to Kellari Taverna for several years. Recently the service has been AWFUL! The food is very good, and very fresh. Our orders were not taken for at least 10 minutes. We asked for more bread, and water refills which took a long time to receive. A person in our party ordered a fish on the menu. The waiter came back and said they ran out of the fish ordered. He ordered another fish. The waiter came back and said they were out of that fish, too, and then claimed he only had fish for two! Perhaps people should be told what is and is not available on the menu when the menu is handed out. This whole incident took about a half an hour, and this was the pattern for the rest of the meal."

Our first location opened in 1993. Soon after opening we earned a solid reputation for our great food and great service, always at a great price! We take pride in our management and friendly staff. Our homemade delicious food includes our specialty of 17 different lasagnas baked to order, veal, chicken, fish dishes and pastas of many nations. We also have a full service of wine, beer and liquor bar for our customers to enjoy.

"In a city where food is supreme, this is not the place to eat! Lasagna's meals were very ordinary, not well presented, and some things were served cold!! There is nothing I could recommend from a group of 6 main dishes and appetizers. The Caesar salad was just a few bites, so can't even tell you about the taste. The fish filet dish and the veal dish tasted the same (although they were different preps). Guess the lasagna goes into the micro before it comes to the table (but one lasagna dish did not get nuked, it was cold). Wait staff were not attentive - water glasses weren't filled, we couldn't get more bread, didn't get to order a second glass of wine, etc."

"Lincoln Center area has some restaurants that have been around, and some come and go. Atlantic Grill is one that is relatively new. It has a reasonably priced menu. The staff gets you in and out in time for a show. Remember it's a chain, so don't expect the best food, but it is good for the price, and better than most restaurants in this area."

Tony's has served up some of the best old NY Italian favorites. Our cooking comes from Southern Neapolitan traditions and served up in huge family style platters that serve 2 to 3 people.

"Tony's is the answer to your wallet and stomach! Food and service is consistently outstanding. Tony's is a well run establishment. You can get in after 6:30 and still get to your curtain. The kitchen and restaurant are very efficient. There is a list of good old fashioned Italian fare that will delight you. Specials are usually available, too. Everything is cooked to perfection...no sticky pasta here! Portions are large and served family style. You should leave room for the dessert."

"Nothing like Paola's for wonderful, authentic, Italian! Home made pastas are the best in the City! Now it's even better because you can dine outside. The hostess/owner/ executive Chef, Paola Bottero, is originally from Rome and provides exciting and delicious culinary creations Roman style with flavors from other great regions in Italy using the best fresh market ingredients."

Abundant and beautiful California Wine Country in the Northeast Heights. Welcome to “Savoy”! A sun-filled, unpretentious but sophisticated, wine-friendly restaurant. As you walk into the dramatic high-ceiling entryway, you are moved in all directions. To the East you have a frosted view of the tasting room, loaded with fresh flowers and walls of glass-encased wine. To the West you get a glimpse of the lounge bar leading to the vine-covered patio. Light, open and airy with butter-colored walls, dark wood and black & white photography of wine country all come together to create an elegant yet surprisingly comfortable atmosphere in the main dining room. The dark and contemporary edge to the room is offset during the day with an abundance of natural light from large windows and three strategically placed skylights. That oven will be our culinary focal point for the exhibition kitchen, where our guests will see and smell the citrus roasted duckling, the roasted platter of shellfish

"Perhaps I'm a food snob, but I find food in hotels is usually not the best. The grade of meat (rib steak) did not seem to be the top of the line. The spicing on the rib steak was overdone for me. The duck was good. It was tasty, but the cut was like a Costco special. The root vegetables were undercooked (in my opinion). Service was fine. The way the tables are set up was very nice. The setting was fine."

"This was not my first time at Kyma. Usually the service is fine; however my friend and I ordered our dinner with some specific instructions - spinach steamed, salad no dressing or anything on it, chicken plain, no butter on anything....(We do know the way we like our foods.) The food did not come out to our specifications. Things had to be sent back. The waiter was not happy. No apologies."

"Right at Times Square, Tony's is #1 for the Theater District . They know how to get you in and out in time for the show, with terrific service, a WOW! meal, and for a low cost! Remember if you go for dinner, portions are for two people and be sure to order Tony's wine (good inexpensive Chianti). Enjoyment without worrying about your bank account!"
