LINCOLN is an expression of artistic collaborations in gastronomy, mixology and design.
Savor our seasonal American small plate menu crafted from fresh ingredients supplied by local & regional farms. LINCOLN pays tribute to one of our greatest US Presidents, with nods to many of his favorite foods including oysters, gingerbread and chicken pot pie.
If you’re thirsty for cocktails that are truly one-of-a-kind, our barkeeps, have created one of the city’s freshest bar programs highlighted by mason jars featuring infused bourbons and DC's first moonshine-list served in antique-style copper cups. In warm weather months enjoy our patio offering panoramic views of DC’s urban landscape.
Original paintings and a distinctive interior design by homegrown pop artist, Maggie O’Neill make LINCOLN a feast for the senses at Lunch, happy hour, dinner, brunch or after dark.
"We went with friends for Restaurant Week and really enjoyed our meal. The food was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. The hostess was particularly outgoing with a clear love of history! She went out of her way to show us certain features of the restaurant and we really enjoyed speaking with her.
We will definitely be back!"

"We enjoyed a wonderful lunch during Restaurant Week. The food was amazing, we shared everything and really enjoyed the food.
The service was fine, but not great. As an example, we only had water to drink and the glasses were allowed to run dry before being refilled. Although this is a small thing, we certainly were surprised to have this happen at Fiola Mare, we certainly expected more from them!
On the other hand, the kitchen knew we were splitting the dishes and they did it for us in the kitchen as opposed to bringing it out for us to do, so there were some nice touches just not quite all we had hoped for.
Again, the real stars were the food and location/view and the food really should be the star at a restaurant."

"The food was very good and the service was good. The menu was not extensive and we would have enjoyed more vegetarian alternatives and a vegetarian soup would have been wonderful, particularly on a cold night! However, the food we did order was excellent and we will come back again."

Blue Duck Tavern, a contemporary neighborhood restaurant, invites its guests to gather and celebrate in good taste with a menu focusing on the freshest ingredients available from local purveyors and artisans. The menu notes every farm where the main ingredient for the dish was raised before its journey to the table. Dishes are genuine, time-honored and traditional -- slow roasting in wood embers, braising, preserving and smoking techniques bring the true flavors of America's great, simple and wholesome foods to the Blue Duck Tavern.

The restaurant has an elegant residential feel through the open staff pantry and kitchen, wood-burning oven and the showpiece Molteni range.

*Please note that for diners bringing in wine, a $35 corkage fee (per 750 ml bottle of wine), with a limit of two bottles, will be charged.

"We enjoyed a wonderful meal with outstanding service at Blue Duck Tavern. The wait staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed our meal!
The only negative part of the evening was the acoustics made it very difficult for the 5 of us to carry on a group conversation. A couple even complained they could barely hear each other and they were seated next to each other!
I would definitely come back, and recommend this restaurant to others, but I would advise they try to make a reservation for off-hours. We went out on a Wednesday night and the restaurant filled up, so mid-week is not the answer."
