"Plan specializes in small plates to be shared among diners, with only a few dishes which would qualify as entries. The menu feature varieties oh Herring and salmon,as well as elk and boar dishes. The boar was excellent, lightly gamy with seared outer skin served with mashed squash. The cocktail menu features some experimental blends, the scotch based one was different, light and refreshing. My only observation is that a dinner for two with one cocktail apiece and 2 shared plate which comes to $100 a person is more than a 2 $ restaurant. The service was attentive without being intrusive. This is a very nice restaurant, convenient to both the symphony and the opera. It is well worth a visit, being different without offering extreme items. Just be prepared to pay for the privilege."

"Five sacrifices taste for trend. Every other dish seems to stress its vegetarian elements. Ingredients seem to be chosen for their unfamiliarity rather than for their contribution to the quality of the dish. The basil gimlet had no basil; it was straight gin. A simple bourbon old fashioned had to be sent back for the club soda. One of the ingredients in a salad, had to be googled before I discovered that is was some French seasoning for vegetarian dishes. The restaurant was crowded so it was difficult to attract the wait staffs attention. Obviously, I am the minority but I won't be going back."

A taste of Tuscany and local treasure that is simply delicious. For over three decades, Luceti"s has served Italian cuisine created by world class chef and awarded San Franciscan, Roger Bertola. Founder of the legendary Doro's, Ruggero's and master chef of Fior and the Iron Horse. Mr. Bertola was also the personal chef to generals Eisenhower and Paton. Today, Luceti's owners carry on the same tradition and cuisine that was started by Dr. Ron Luceti in 1984. Luceti's is a great place for private parties and business meetings. Full menu is available at bar.

"The Christmas Eve menu was a collection of old favorites, reasonably priced and prepared. The pasta with clams was well prepared with both clam pieces and whole clams in their shells. The chopino had a nice assortment of both fish and shellfish but was a little on the bland side. A few splashes of Tabasco perked it up nicely. The wine list had a good selection of reasonably priced wines. The roast beef was probably one of the largest portions I've seen and the diners seemed to enjoy it.
This was our first visit but it was clear that many of the families dining there were regulars, who were well known to the friendly waitstaff. Both old and new customers were attentively served and made comfortable. All in all, with the exception of one or two large and loud groups, this restaurant provide a lovely experience."

"The food is quite good and there are plenty of opportunities to mix and match on the menu. The roast beef special got great reviews from our party. Both bands www very good and the music selections excellent. Our waiter kept coming back to confirm our orders and then returning to say that something on the menu was unavailable. This was at 6:45 p.m. So it couldn't have been sold out. The check was a nightmare, requiring 3 tries to get it correct. G great place for entertainment but examine the check carefully."

Seasonal & Delicious.

With Paul Martin's American Grill, Brian Bennett and restaurateur Paul Fleming have realized a long-nurtured dream to create the restaurant "we've always wished was in our neighborhood."

At the heart of all great food is fresh, local, peak of the season ingredients. Paul Martin's aims to serve diners the best ingredients with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced produce, the best of both wild and farmed fish, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors. The deep California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State's vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. Behind Paul Martin's elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin's American Grill.

"The food was excellent, the service attentive and, except for the crowd of giants fans at the bar, the noise level was tolerable. However, it would have been nice to be able to read the menu without a flashlight and see the expressions on the faces of my dinner companions. Dim booth lighting may foster romance but is wasted on booths that seat 6."

"The roast beef dinner was a big hit with members of my family. It was perfectly cooked for those who do not like their roast beef too bloody. The seasonal lobster tail dinner was also excellent, The lobster was moist and tender but the green beans really stole the show. Changing the menu to fit the season to use locally grown food is both a nice concept and provides very tasty side dishes and salads. This is a fine place to have a Sunday dinner with the family."
