Located in downtown Sacramento, America's Farm to Fork Capital, Grange is a culinary expression of all things local, reflecting the authentic essence and soul of the community.

The menu showcases the market-driven bounties from the state and is best described as simple, seasonal and soulful. Organically raised meats and poultry are complemented with the freshest produce available from the Central Valley, while sustainable coastal seafood is paired with a spectacular all-California wine list. The entrees are presented in a straightforward American brasserie style. Lastly, enjoy the creations from our pastry chef such as rustic artisan breads and desserts.

This Sacramento restaurant’s setting is both classic and authentic. The two-story space combines architectural elements from the building’s rich history with exposed beams and concrete columns to create a surprising and urbane, loft-like atmosphere.

"Elegant, romantic place without too much ornamentation but they do not overemphasize simplicity either: overall very nice ambience for a late night dinner.
The service was fantastic: just the perfect mix of friendliness, dignity, and elegance. A minor ordering error (that was probably 50-50 on us vs our server) was corrected in the most professional and amicable manner (the missing salad was served practically immediately and was on he house)
The food was very good all around. The selection is not very broad, but everything we tried was very tasty, with good texture. Presentation was elegant and inviting but not overdone. They prepared a vegan meal off the menu for a fair price for one of our company."

Papaya restaurant is a sophisticated, casual yet elegant destination for exquistely prepared Southeast Asian cuisine. Whether you are looking for a relaxing evening in the restaurant or perhaps a casual date at the bar, Papaya is the place to be.

"I was surprised how nice this place is - a standout in the mall: simple and elegant decor, good music, nice people.
Service was stylish, but too rusty, especially considering the upper-middle-class nature of the place:
sushi was brought before we got our soup, that came without spoon, then edamame without a plate for peel... They corrected all these kindly, though. The exception that they did not correct is that they have no unsweetened ice tea. I can live without that, but they brought sweet tea and charged for it even after I told them I don't want it and did not touch it.
Food was good, what you expect at a place like this, no surprises (no good one either).
