Sushi Sho was established in 1983 and the owner and master chef, Aki Kawata has been keeping the tradition of Edo-mae(Tokyo) and Kansai(Osaka) style sushi alive for more than 30 years. His early training was done at his family restaurant in Wakayama Japan. His sushi, sashimi and specialty dishes are made from the finest ingredients available on the market. Every dish is made to be pure and simple, balanced to highlight each ingredients unique flavors, served without compromise at his sushi bar.

To offer the best dining experience, only 6 customers are served at a time in 3 sessions per evening. Reservations are required in advance and there is a minimum charge of $40 a person and children under the age of 5 are not allowed.

"I have had the great opportunity to dine at some of the world's best sushi restaurants and Sushi So is uniquestionably a contender. The fish is fresh, the omakase selections are interesting, unique, and flavorful. Even the dessert selections are tasty, a rarity at many sushi restaurants. The restaurant shies away from the glitz and glamour found at many sushi restaurants these days (I'm looking at you, Nobu) and instead has an authentic Japanese feel. I would very highly recommend this restaurant next time you find yourself in the east bay."

"Just a heartbeat away from the buzz of Broadway and the vibrant energy of Hell’s Kitchen, Etcetera Etcetera is a modern and cozy oasis of culinary delights – the perfect place for pre-dinner cocktails, post-theatre dinners and everything in between. Owner Daniele Kucera has drawn on his own unique cultural heritage and many years of restaurant expertise to create a warm sanctuary of elegant dining. With its sleek, gorgeous interior and sharp, friendly staff, Etcetera Etcetera has become a heavenly haven and shimmering neighborhood fixture for both discriminating New Yorkers and curious tourists. In addition to mouth-watering favorites such as Scialatielli, Grouper and Skirt Steak, there are always fresh and innovative options on the seasonal menus, and the outgoing staff is always good for a tasty recommendation. Whether you are looking for an intimate dinner, planning a large party or just want to grab fare, you can do it all in grand style at Etcetera Etcetera."

Welcome to Roy's Ka'anapali! Since opening "the original" Roy's Hawaii Kai in 1988, I have set out to explore "new directions," blending classic European cooking techniques with unique influences of Asia and the Pacific. Guided by the freshest ingredients and my own sense of freedom, the menu is constantly evolving.
