83 ½ is best described as a labor of love. A love of a family, friends and most importantly, food. Owner Vincenzo Mangiafridda, a twenty-year restaurant veteran of the Upper East Side, wanted to open a restaurant that spoke to his deep Sicilian roots. In 83 1/2, his vision has become reality. Chef David Pereg has created a menu of memorable Italian dishes including silky pastas, inventive antipasti, and delicious entrees. <br />Above all, it’s Vincenzo’s love of people that makes 83 ½ what it is: a warm, welcoming place where friends and families share their passion for food and familiar faces. We can’t wait for your family to meet ours. <br />

The posh retail district known as “The Avenue” in Greenwich Connecticut is now home to a stylish Italian restaurant and gathering place, Morello Italian Bistro. Owned by the London based restaurant group, MARC, Inc, with restaurants in London and New York, Morello Italian Bistro combines regional Italian cuisine,with exceptional wines and superior service. A familiar face, James Branigan, formerly of Terra Ristorante Italiano in Greenwich, will be looking after guests, ensuring special care and attention to detail. The bi-level space is a historic Guastavino design with domed ceilings. The décor is tastefully chic and brings together casual warmth with high energy. The large bar is a social focal point of the restaurant where creative cocktails and global wine selections can be savored.
