Situated on the iconic Chicago River with stunning views of the water and downtown, River Roast is a lively social house and gathering place from James Beard award-winning Chef Tony Mantuano and Executive Chef John Hogan. The menu features contemporary American tavern fare with dramatic presentations of whole roasted chicken, whole roasted fish and slow roasted beef; all carved tableside and served with signature potatoes. The food is handcrafted, yet rustic, with many plates designed for sharing. Two bars offer views of the water and a large selection of local beer, craft cocktails, beertails, and wine as well as carved meats from The Roost, River Roast’s carving stand. With one of the best patios in Chicago, River Roast is a great place to enjoy dining outside on a hot summer afternoon or a crisp fall evening. River Roast Private Events offers six flexible spaces, all with spectacular views, for parties from 10 to 1,000. Open daily for lunch, brunch, dinner and drinks.

"Interesting concept. Lot's of unusual appetizers and vegetable sides for sharing but essentially three entrees. You can get whole fish two ways, a roasted whole chicken, or beef roast carved at the table. The fried fish comes on a large skewer stuck in a cutting board. All are easily shared. The food was very good and kind of a fun presentation.
The outdoor seating along the river is pleasant but demand is high."

"The food here incorporates unusual ingredients and preparations in creating a Spanish food experience that is hard to find. A great selection of share-able appetizers complements a good selection of entree's and of course paella. We had the fish paella with langoustines which was delicious. The wine list offers a great selection of Spanish wines at all price points.
The service is great and ambiance appealing."

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab is the culmination of a partnership between Lettuce Entertain You and Joe's Stone Crab, the legendary seafood restaurant of Miami Beach. Joe's features an extensive selection of seafood, flown in fresh daily, to complement the world's finest Florida Stone Crab claws. Joe's features the signature 16 oz. Bone-In Filet Mignon and 22 oz. New York Strip Steak. Matched with Joe's signature side dishes, dinner only gets better when capped with a slice of the famous key lime pie. Enjoy a generous cocktail in the grand bar or the tuxedo-clad service of the clubby dining room.

"This restaurant has been leveraging the original Florida Joe's for a long time. The ambiance and service is pretentious but I'm sure tourists are impressed. Pace was glacial.
You're going to spend a lot of money here and there are many better steak houses and seafood restaurants. Lettuce Entertainment Restaurants are normally better than this.

Pepperoncini offers fine Italian cuisine in a cozy, corner bar atmosphere. We have been at the heart of the Conshohocken dining scene since 2005. We offer delicious pasta, seafood, veal, steaks and chops as well as thin crust pizzas. We pride ourselves on food consistency and excellent customer service. We have many great, affordable wines by the glass or bottle form all over the world. Stop in for dinner and we're sure you'll be returning with your family and friends.

"We love this type of small neighborhood place where you feel at home and enjoy great service and food. This place is Italian and the food is great. Try The long hots and the shrimp appetizers. They have some small plates that are good choices if you pig out on the starters.
Wine list is reasonable."

Classic Italian dishes with a contemporary flair have made Trattoria No.10 a Chicago favorite since 1989. Specialties on the daily menu include unique, homemade ravioli, rustic pastas, freshly prepared risotto, fresh fish selections and grilled filet of beef. The subdued elegance of the interior, with arched walkways, murals and original art provides an intimate atmosphere that is perfect for business lunches, pre-theater dining, romantic dinners or private parties.

"We tried this spot because of the proximity to the Bank of America Theatre and would have been satisfied with average. What we got was excellent. Downstairs ambiance is charming, service is highly professional, a good wine list, and varied menu. Be sure to try the ravioli."

"This is a small plates restaurant. The menu is interesting and not extensive but the food was very good.
Service was slow and our server just had too many tables.
If you happen to be hungry make certain your credit limit is high."

Please join us on our rooftop patio, the Tavern Tree House!! It opens Monday through Saturday at 4pm. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept reservations for our outdoor seating. Also, OpenTable points will not be rewarded for tables going to the roof. Tavern At The Park offers acclaimed New American cuisine in an upscale decor across from beautiful Millennium Park. Deep wood tones combined with leather and stone to create an atmosphere where rich Chicago history meets modern big-city style. Crain’s Chicago Business said “this elegant tavern epitomizes Chicago style and energy.” In the bar, which CitySearch referred to as “an off-the-clock cocktailers' dream”, you will find a creative seasonal drink list which offers the newest intoxicating trends as well as stylish and innovative beer and wine lists.

"Opened for lunch at 12:00 and there was a line. We had a reservation so we were seated outside. The kitchen apparently never recovered from the crunch management put themselves in and it took an hour for our entrées to come. Unfortunately we had theatre tickets so we couldn't eat them.
We've had good experiences here in the past. It is a great location for the Ford Oriental Theatre but give yourself lots of time and don't go if you are in a hurry.
