"Definitely need a reservation. We did have a reservation and saw several people leaving who did not.
Small selection, but what is there is quite good. The sushi is fresh and seasoned nicely. I tried a roasted eggplant dish with a smoky flavoring - I am not wild about smoke flavoring, but this was mild and tasty. We enjoyed each of the dishes that we had."

"The braised octopus was tender and in a light tomato base. The ceviche was cool and tasty. Salmon was plain...cooked to perfection....as I like it. Service was excellent."

Left Bank is an authentic French brasserie celebrating Mediterranean Cuisine. Located in Menlo Park's charming downtown, Left Bank transports guests to a quaint brasserie in Paris. Open since 1998 and completely re-modeled in 2008, Left Bank offers a casual, charming brasserie setting where diners feast upon classic southern French cuisine. Our outdoor sidewalk cafe seating evokes a lively European atmosphere and is the perfect place for just an appetizer and beer or a 3-course meal with a beautiful bottle of wine. Whether it's at our sidewalk table, the gorgeous glass-walled bar, or in the casually elegant main dining room, you'll enjoy a fun & french experience.

Fifteen years of working with local organic farms allows us to bring you the best seasonal ingredients available. Chef de Cuisine Brendy Monsada offers an always changing menu focused on Southern French Cuisine.

"Enjoyed our dinner. Most dishes were heavy on the salt. Should I return, which is possible, I would ask for no added salt in my dishes.
The soup, fish, beef and calamari we ordered were all well prepared (except for the heavy handed salt). We had an early dinner and the restaurant filled quickly. Many families with children. Everyone appeared to be enjoying the meal and being there.
Service was excellent.
We then got to"

Boxing Room opened in June 2011 in the former 19th-century Standard Shirts Factory, located in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood. Executive Chef Justin Simoneaux, a Southern Louisiana native, celebrates the Cajun and Creole dishes of New Orleans and coastal Louisiana, coupled with seasonal Northern California ingredients. Additionally, Boxing Room offers a seafood bar, cocktails, and beer and wine on tap. Since opening, Boxing Room has been named one of San Francisco’s Best New Restaurants by 7x7 magazine, and San Francisco magazine gave the restaurant a 3-star review. Boxing Room is open daily for dinner, lunch during the week, and brunch on the weekend.

"Excellent service. Each dish was perfect. We were going to SF Jazz and had leftovers. Asked whether it can be held for our return after the show and the answer was yes. Thus, we had a great evening and terrific leftovers the next day."

"Always enjoy dining at Fontana's. The lasagna is light and tasty. My husband had the caciucco e linguine and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant was full, yet service was terrific, as always."

"My husband was thrilled that there was an entree with octopus. He enjoyed each bite - perfectly seasoned and prepared. I had the duck breast - tender and juicy. A perfect dinner prior to heading the SF Jazz."

Dobbs Ferry Restaurant is an all day and everyday establishment; for locals, by locals; with a welcoming beckon to all of the visitors of this Little City. It is an ambassador of West coast food and East coast style with an "old world" feel, that is uniquely and unequivocally San Francisco.
Hayes Street Grill is a neo-traditional fish house in San Francisco's Civic Center district, across the street from the Performing Arts Center, opposite Davies Symphony Hall and a block from both the Opera House and City Hall. We use an international mix of recipes, unified with a theme of fish and seafood. Above every other consideration, we want the freshness and pristine quality of the fish, produce, and naturally-raised meats to speak for themselves.

The Hayes Street Grill's walls are covered with autographed photos of the artists who consider the restaurant their club. Though we've remodeled since our opening 33 years ago, the original brass coat hooks along the walls remain, as does our founding philosophy of cooking only the food we would serve at home to our families, albeit dressed up a little, with a religious dedication to wholesomeness.
