SHI is a gorgeous new waterside Pan-Asian restaurant in Long Island City. Featuring a full bar and lounge it is the perfect spot to start a wonderful night on a date, or just friends going out together. It’s gorgeous dining room has floor to ceiling bay windows that showcase the entire city skyline like you have only seen in pictures. SHI's eclectic menu of Asian style serves Japanese style, Vietnamese style, Chinese style, and a full sushi bar as well. When the weather is warmer, seek the outdoor terrace for your dining pleasure. This sleek restaurant should be classified as sexy and fun.

"Great venue for jazz and dinner. Service was attentive, though not disruptive. Time to chat; time to listen to and appreciate the musicians and their music."

"Service is excellent, portions large and most dishes are excellent. The Chicken Florentine was a bit dry - but from cooking and the type of cheese that was used. Each of the other dishes were great, including Parmesan Tilapia, Muscles, Veal Parmesan and the several salads that six of us shared. Plenty left over for each of us to take home. The leftovers we had, muscles and pasta and Veal Parmesan were terrific the next day. The best part was not being rushed -- we really had time to talk and enjoy spending time with each other."

Xanh, with its cutting edge contemporary design and a more diverse, innovative menu, is tailor made for entertaining and dining. Clearly not your typical Vietnamese Restaurant, XANH is a 21st century interpretation of that beloved culinary tradition retaining the essential elements of the classic but updating it for a new generation

"We went for an early dinner prior to TheatreWorks. Actually had a private dining experience; they do get busy later. The service was top notch. The menu is large. The crispy potstickers were were good, but the weakest dish of those we ordered. The grapefruit and apple salad was awesome - cool, crisp and light. My husband had a curry stew that was quite hot and spicy - he really enjoyed it -- and ended the meal with the passion fruit mango ice cream to cut the heat. The portions are very generous, so much was left over, which they offered to pack to go."

Boxing Room opened in 2011 in the former 19th-century Standard Shirts Factory, located in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood. Executive Chef Justin Simoneaux, a Southern Louisiana native, celebrates the Cajun and Creole dishes of New Orleans and coastal Louisiana, coupled with seasonal Northern California ingredients. Additionally, Boxing Room offers oysters from the raw bar, and an extensive selection of beer and wine on tap. Since opening, Boxing Room has been named one of San Francisco’s Best New Restaurants by 7x7 magazine, and San Francisco magazine gave the restaurant a 3-star review. Boxing Room is open daily for dinner, lunch during the week, and brunch on the weekend.

"Small menu, but interesting selections. I do not enjoy spicy food and there are always choices that I enjoy. This time I had the salmon, prepared perfectly. My husband had the alligator and the jambalaya -- each was well prepared. No cocktails available, to my husband's chagrin."

"First time at Joya. Pleasantly surprised. The cerviche (three type sampler) was excellent -- each fresh and different tastes. The salmon was cooked perfectly -- the squash was grilled and juicy. Although the restaurant was busy and atmosphere was lively, we felt relaxed prior to our concert at Bing. We will return."

At Sauce: Gough we serve what we like to call "Social Cuisine" - American comfort fare so good you'll want everyone at the table to try a bite. It's shared food without the tiny plates. Come sample Chef Ben's creations along with some drinks in the intimate Supper Club; cozy up to the beautiful redwood bar for a signature cocktail; or, enjoy a meal in the bustling main dining room. Experience what happens when Comfort Food meets California Cuisine — it could be our Tomato Bisque with white truffle grilled cheese sticks; Portobello mushroom fries; or our signature applewood-smoked-bacon wrapped meatloaf, something is sure to tickle your fancy. Located just a few blocks from the civic center in Hayes Valley, Sauce: Gough is the welcoming result of three partners' desire to create a comfortable spot for drinking and dining. Pre-Show, post-show and for all your private events Sauce is the place. Stop by for dinner any night between 5pm and Midnight and see for yourself; what’s cooking

"The vegetarian strudel was scrumptious. Their donuts are a light way to finish dinner if one is in the mood for dessert.
Small menu. Service was excellent. Great place for before SFJazz (they'll even hold your "doggy bag" for on your way home)

"salmon was perfect, as was the crab linguini. The calamar, while good, was not as crispy nor seasoned as we have had it here on prior occasions."
