"We had an astonishingly great dinner at Poste last night. The black bass was perfectly prepared at the peak temperature for its texture, with just a touch of light seasoning that brought out the flavor exquisitely. My wife had a skirt steak that also was just right, served with a mountain of some of the best fried potatoes ever. And the service could not have been better.
And it's in DC! Who knew?

Wild Alaskan Restaurant and Bar is a casual dining experience in the heart of Incline Village. We offer a friendly atmosphere fit for large groups, families and couples. Come enjoy our cozy fireplace during the winter and our outdoor patio seating during the summer. <br /><br />Our specialty is seafood, however we have something for everyone! We serve wild salmon from the Copper River in Alaska. A customer favorite is our Wild Thai Seafood soup. If you"re not in the mood for fish, we also have a wide variety of other options including sandwiches, tacos, wraps and entrees. Try our teriyaki rice bowls or thai curry made with your choice of seafood, meat or make it vegetarian.<br /><br />Also, be sure to stop by our Happy Hours. That's right; two Happy Hours! Enjoy drink specials and specially priced menu items during our traditional Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m. Then come back for more drink specials from 9 to 10 p.m.

After relaxing with our signature Lakeside Libations in the Great Room Lounge, sit down to a flavorful meal in the lakeview dining room prepared by chef de cuisine Shane Hammett. Lone Eagle Grille features all natural beef as well as elk, bison, king salmon, halibut and baramundi. We focus on locally sourced ingredients with a menu that changes with the seasons. A full vegetarian menu is available.

Opened in 2000 by partners Steve Marks and Harman Schuchmann, the restaurant has become a Tahoe Vista institution in a short amount of time. By offering regional American cuisine and a variety of wines in a casual atmosphere, the pair created a dining experience that caters to both large families and couples seeking a romantic evening.

SeaSalt is inspired by its location near the water and is dedicated to seafood and its accompaniments. Chef Fabrizio Aielli brings to his cuisine an infusion of the simplicity of Venetian home cooking, learned at his mother’s knee, along with the upscale and innovative techniques he has garnered during his years of practice in fine restaurants in Italy, the Caribbean and Washington, DC. He explores time-honored methods and melds them with the new, bringing a handcrafted and honest restoration of traditional dishes. As far as possible, ingredients are sourced from local producers and markets and the disherfolk. Chef Fabrizio Aielli is inspired by the mainstays of the seafood repertoire, using organic and local produce, wild caught seafood, poultry and meat raised naturally without hormones, antibiotics or animal by-products whenever possible, emphasizing fresh and seasonal ingredients.
