"Generally enjoyed our late lunch/early dinner. Have been here before several times. Had the crab cakes and salmon dishes. Really enjoyed the food. Might help to pay the electric bills though because it is DARK in there. All over. And while the food was good, the prices are on the high side. And the drinks - two glasses of wine - far from a generous pour, really expensive for average wine. So in the end, would I go back yes. Just not more than maybe twice a year."

Catherine Lombardi was the grandmother of owner Mark Pascal. Pascal, part owner of Stage Left Restaurant, brings his signature obsession with quality local ingredients to the cuisine of his youth. Catherine Lombardi's family came to Brooklyn from Naples. Her cooking was Neapolitan-based and heavily Brooklyn-influenced. It brought her whole extended family together every Sunday. Come taste why.

Cited Best New Restaurant and Best Italian Restaurant by NJ Monthly Readers’ Choice Poll, the red sauce is largely made from tomatoes the restaurant staff picks locally. To-order mozzarella, pressed eggplant rollatini, great pasta and a veal chop to die for are highlights.

Hand-made fresh juice cocktails are featured at the cocktail bar overlooking revitalized downtown New Brunswick. 21 new windows overlook downtown, offering a dramatic bird's-eye-view of The New Brunswick Theater District. It is a crown jewel in New Brunswick's thriving redevelopment.

"Had a very good meal. Food was really good. The bar was full most likely due to daily happy hour martini drinkers. A few were eating. I like the restaurant under it's prior name. It has nice decor and is very comfortable. I thought the bill was a tab expensive and slightly over priced."

In 1982, NYC restaurateur Bart Ruggiero brought his famous recipes to downtown Matawan, selecting a location where suburban hospitality meets sophisicated appetites. Lunch and Dinner served in charming old cathedral ambience where homemade pastas, fresh fish and veal specialities are always on the menu. Bart's has built a reputation for the finest fresh made raviolis with a variety of fillings. Join us - we can't wait to meet you!! Enjoy al fresco dining on our beautiful patio from May - October.

For 100 years, the Algonquin has been greeting and lodging the country's most prominent writers and literary personalities, as well as the leading figures of the American stage. The hotel is best known, perhaps, for the members of the Round Table, a group of luminaries who had in common both the ability to fire blazing witticisms and to withstand being on the receiving end of them. The tone they set during their daily meetings set the literary style of the 1920s. After World War I, Vanity Fair writers and Algonquin regulars Dorothy Parker, Robert Benchley and Robert E. Sherwood began lunching at the Algonquin. Though society columns referred to them as the Algonquin Round Table, they called themselves the Vicious Circle. "By force of character," observed drama critic Brooks Atkinson, "they changed the nature of American comedy and established the tastes of a new period in the arts and theatre."

"Walked in, had no clue who to talk to. Could not find restaurant desk and no one came to greet us. Sat at a decent table. Dinners were good. Pork was really tough. Would not order it again. Wife had shrimp dish and was plentiful. Our guests were moderately satisfied also. I don't think the waiter was as attentive as he could have been. Among other items, the bill had to be corrected. Was this an error or a hopeful bonus tip? It was ok but probably would not go back only because there are so many other choices."
