A seed-to-table restaurant that sources ingredients as locally and seasonally as possible, Waterfront Kitchen offers sweeping views of the Baltimore harbor from the western-most tip of Thames Street in historic Fells Point. During the growing season, we partner with Living Classroom’s BUGS (Baltimore Urban Gardening with Students) program to grow our own fresh produce and teach inner-city grade school kids about the joys of good nutrition and gardening. Year-round, we celebrate the beauty of nature’s bounty on the plate, and offer wines from makers that share our commitment to feeding body and soul. Mission-driven dining never tasted so good.

The Osteria at Cinghiale has the feel of an elegant tavern with white table cloths and mahogany and leather banquettes. It features a large farm table for a special family-style dining experience. The menu is complimented by an over 500 label wine list that features Northern and Central Italian wines. There are approximately 40 wines available by the glass, each available in full and half pours. The restaurant was recently recognized by Food & Wine magazine as having one of the best new wine lists in the country. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting.

"Our hostess set tenor of the evening. Hailey was friendly, welcoming and humorous. My wife and I each started with the kale caesar salad, a vegan dish, that was the best kale salad we ever had. The chef later told us that the base of the dressing was soy milk, which created the creamy consistency of the dressing without the use of dairy products. Entrees ordered were the special of the evening, snapper with quinoa, and from the regular menu, the vegan "cauliflower steak" with quinoa. Both were innovative and expertly prepaired. Ingredients in all dishes were fresh and the flavors vibrant. However, the highlight of the evening was our server, Rachel, who was knowledgeable, personable and simply wonderful.
Run, don't walk to Shore Dinner!
