Chef Michael Chiarello has returned to his culinary roots by creating seasonal farm-to-table Italian cuisine reflecting the bold flavors of Chiarello’s heritage in his signature style 1st made famous at Tra Vigne in the 90’s. An award winning chef/vintner & Food Network host, Chiarello celebrates his Italian roots and the Napa Valley with a menu echoing his long practice of using the finest locally/sustainably produced food. Located in Yountville, in the heart of the Napa Valley, Bottega’s extensive wine list represents hard-to-find favorites of the Valley and interesting Italian selections. Chiarello restored the integrity of an old 1800’s estate by uncovering beautiful hard wood floors, timber beams, old brick walls and windows. The inviting dining room is accented with reclaimed antiques, warm fabrics and eclectic light fixtures lending to the restaurant’s old world comfort.

"Bottega is one of our favorite wine country spots for Sunday lunch and the food, especially world's bets $19 burger did not disappoint. However, I had made a special call to request outside seating. We arrived 10 minutes early and we're not surprised to be told that table was not ready but dessert was being served. 35 minutes later we were seated. Hostess never accurately updated table status so we could have chosen to sit and have a drink while waiting. One of the worst dining services experience in memory !!"

Thomas Keller’s ad hoc, which literally means "for this purpose," was originally intended to be a temporary restaurant, open during the development of a very different concept. But, due to its loyal following, it was decided that it must be a permanent fixture in Yountville. ad hoc serves a prix fixe, 4-course chalkboard menu, changing daily. Food is served family style and reminiscent of the comfort food with which Chef Keller grew up.

"Might not have ordered what was served 'family style' but it was an exceptional experience.
Great ingredients, creatively prepared and beautifully presented. Well Done.

San Francisco’s critically acclaimed Mochica, the home of Peruvian Fusion, has moved to a new and larger location, now in the Mission (Potrero Hill). Long considered one of San Francisco's best kept secrets, Chef Carlos Altamirano prominently features the unmistakable touch of Peru, with the distinct flavors of regional spices in every dish; yet with unexpected and delightful twists. Come and experience the new Mochica with its large open kitchen, 2 private dining rooms and a full bar plus pisco bar. We’re confident that you’ll have a memorable good time!
