A cabin-style watering hole with amazing food and drink, Copperwood Tavern is your oasis from the hustle and bustle of the city. Specializing in seasonal American small plates, we feature prime cuts of local game, farm-raised poultry, beef and fresh fish accompanied with hearty, family-style sides.

"The food was excellent. The bar is very noisy and not separated well from the dining room so while I enjoyed my meal it is not a relaxing kind of place."

Located in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, between Old Town and Crystal City, the Evening Star Cafe is known for exceptional food, friendly but professional service and an inviting 'retro chic and funky' atmosphere. Both a classic neighborhood restaurant and a destination for diners throughout the Washington Metropolitan area, the Evening Star features sophisticated and eclectic American food, one of the region's most appealing and best-priced wine lists, and two separate lounges.

"The food is good. Perhaps because of the proximity to the Arena Stage, the atmosphere is crazy; not a good dining experience because of the noise level and the level of stress the wait staff appear to be under. It is one of the "few games in town" if you want a meal before an Arena performance but it is not a relaxing experience."
