La Dolce Vita is family owned and operated by two generations. Both ZIO (uncle) Giuseppe Salpietro and Nipote (nephew) Nicola Fuccilli invite you to experience their passion for Italian cuisine and culture. The story of La Dolce Vita began five decades ago in a small town in the hills of Sicily. It is from here that co-owner Giuseppe Salpietro brings authentic cuisine, traditions and customs, which come from centuries of good living. La Dolce Vita believes in bringing this passion for Dolce Vita, translates to mean the sweet life, into every dish that leaves our kitchen. It is our goal to make every customer feel like part of our very own family. We at La Dolce Vita believe in family and invite you and your family in to our Restaurant to experience a variety of fantastic tastes to please every palate.

"We spent 1 night in Belmar, and enjoyed a dining room from which we could see the ocean!
It was nice to dine on a white tablecloth, having careful service and delicious pasta.

The stunning restaurant, which is first of its kind in Philadelphia, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home & a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish which are flown in from the Greek Islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia, & Portugal. Guests are able to choose from Estia’s expansive display & watch chefs cook their fish to perfection over a charcoal grill in the sparkling open kitchen.

Tucked away on 12 acres of lawns & gardens, the Joseph Ambler Inn is the ideal setting for a truly exceptional dining experience. Featuring award winning contemporary American cuisine & an extensive wine list. The Dining room is located in the renovated stone barn & features hardwood floors, exposed stone walls, & historic ambiance. The Inn also offers casual dining and happy hour specials in our JPub. Tables in the JPub are on a first come first served basis. Terrace dining is also available in the warmer months.

"We always enjoy a meal at JAI, considering a country spot different from our usual Philadelphia restaurants. We often have an "excuse" like a birthday or anniversary, since it's quite a costly meal and we don't splurge often.
Thursday night's dinner was quite excellent -- EXCEPT -- food was not hot enough when it came to the table -- the portobello appetizer, the monkfish and the scallops. Perhaps the server was overworked, and couldn't get our food soon enough after its preparation? We often go for lunch, when demands are lighter.
We're likely to go back, and always look forward to being at JAI, in large part for its ambience. We can get lots of similarly good food at a similar price in our city!"
