HCBMiami's Reviews

Looking for fun, great cuisine and good wines? The party is at Novecento, the Miami sibling of the two decades-old restaurant in SoHo. Great ambiance with live DJs in a hot bar scene. The cuisine at Novecento is a refined co-existence of Argentine, Mediterranean and Pan-Latin cuisines, heightened by French techniques - perhaps best called Nuevo Bistro. Chef Medici's food is intriguing. Locals can't stay away from this landmark, making Novecento one of the best value restaurants in Miami. Our Argentinean signature dishes includes the typical Empanadas, Provoleta, Sweetbreads with a twist and flavorful grilled steaks. We want you to meet It lounge, our new space where you can have amazing drinks and great tapas style menu.

"Like the other locations the food is good and the ambiance is fun and energetic...unfortunately, we had horrible service on our first visit to this location but would go back...hopefully they will train the staff better..."

Belgian cuisine is more than mussels, frites and waffles. It shares the sophistication and technique of classical French cuisine but some of the boldness you’d find in Germany. It’s very unique and will definitely be new to many customers. The visionary behind this fresh, new concept is owner Emmanuel Verschueren, a successful businessman, and Tim Michels, a prominent Belgian restaurateur. They are hoping to expose South Florida to the flavors and dishes of Belgium; thus, the idea for Bistro BE was born.

Prohibition Restaurant and Speakeasy is Midtown' s newest and hottest 2 million dollar venue, serving Miami fusion favorites with variety of small and large plate items. We pride ourselves in serving the best quality classic cocktails using the freshers and best ingredient and premium liquor. Prohibition also offers a private second floor lounge " The Eighteenth" for most intimate lounge setting.

"I was not expecting much but I have to say the service and food were impressive. My only comment would be that for a restaurant that promotes itself as "Prohibition Speakeasy" the cocktail list was a little bland and uninspired in this age of creative cocktail lists...some interesting prohibition era cocktails would be a nice addition.
Worth checking out!"
