MetroFoodie's Reviews

Set in a 1780 Pennsylvania Stone Farmhouse with deep windows and a warm pleasant atmosphere this is a family owned and operated restaurant that is recognized as one of the "Best of Lancaster" for dinner, Sunday Brunch, patio dining, wine list, atmosphere and romantic settings. Although our building is over 225 years old we update our menu daily! Change is a good thing at the Greenfield. We specialize in next day delivery of Hawaiian Finfish and seafood while we continue to cut our own steaks. You will enjoy selections from our wine list that has been recognized by the Wine Spectator Magazine for over 9 years. Our patio and balcony over looking the trendy bar is among our customers favorite requests for lunch and dinner seating, while the wine cellar has two of the most romantic tables in the area. If you are traveling, this is one of those restaurants that you wish you had back home....and we are happy that you found us.

The Comus Inn is the perfect choice for a relaxing afternoon or evening out with family or friends. The restaurant is a rehabilitated historical property with a stunning view of Sugarloaf Mountain. The Comus Inn utilizes the freshest ingredients from local produce and cheeses, hormone free beef and sustainable seafood to provide a dining experience to suit your taste and appetite. Food is prepared to order with artful presentations that appeal to both the palate and the eye. Our goal is to provide our customers with a superior dining experience from the moment they enter until their departure. We promise to greet you quickly, sincerely and elegantly, serve you with highly trained staff and most of all serve dishes that are high quality, cutting edge and the best value.

Bobby Van’s Grill marks the return of the powerful New York City chop shop to the downtown D.C. area but with a new twist. This eclectic New American Steakhouse now boasts a slightly more casual family friendly atmosphere as well as catering to the Washington politician. This 536-seat D.C. destination is fully loaded! There’s four private, intimate and upscale dining rooms with their own bar and bar services. Two 40-foot long bars can be found with friendly bartenders serving strong drinks and even stronger conversations. The main dining room boasts views of both New York Avenue and the plush marble atrium of the adjoining building amidst its beautiful water fountain. This is an ideal place to meet for power lunches, family gatherings and late night dinners in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

"My husband and I went for dinner to celebrate a special occasion. We both had the petite filet, which was larger than most restaurant's regular portion - both were cooked to perfection. The sides were perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. But, be prepared; the food isn't cheap, even with the 1/2 wine. If you go on a night when they offer a price fixed menu you can save."

"We took out of town guests to Rasika for dinner, one member had a service dog and is on a gluten and dairy restricted diet. The restaurant was accommodating in every way possible. They sat us at a table in the corner where the dog would be more comfortable. They even put together a special gluten and dairy free sample plate for our guest that was perfect."
