"Not your typical American-Chinese place. Portion sizes were on the smaller side, but we were satisfied with the amount. Liked the special choices where you get 2 apps, 2 meals, plus rice and veg. The place is all white which is weird, but made for interesting atmosphere. They come around with a champagne cart which is also weird, but fun. It's pricey, but convenient and tasty."

The Lazy Goat is a Mediterranean-themed restaurant with a menu featuring global influences from Spain, Morocco, Italy, France, Greece, Africa and the Middle East and a relaxed atmosphere where taking the time to "linger and share" is encouraged.

The diverse menu was created to accommodate a variety of diner preferences with meat & cheese plates, small plates to “graze and nibble,” and main dishes.

Guests are invited to take their time while "trying a little bit of that and a little bit of that" or a "whole lot of whatever they like".

"They called to confirm my reservation. It seems everyone does that now. I find it annoying. I made the reservation specifically on-line and don't want to have to call someone back to confirm. Just a weird pet peeve. Anyway, nobody was there and the place was huge. They had to confirm my reservation and yet nobody was there. It was fine. I was hungry. Temperature was good. Layout was nice. Service at hostess desk could have been better (lots of people hanging around with nothing to do). Waiter was attentive (asked me how I was doing several times - when I had food in my mouth). I asked for light cheese on my pizza and got extra cheese. I took it off myself and it was fine. Olives and radishes were fun appetizers. Menu was interesting and if I wasn't running a race in the morning I would have experimented. Again, it's fine. There's just so much to choose from in the area that this probably wouldn't make the recommendation list."

An LA landmark since its opening in 1983, The Ivy is the place to go for a great time in the City of Angels. From its star-studded crowd, to its jamming music, friendly wait-staff, killer cocktails and unbeatable food, this cozy, hip, neighborhood restaurant exemplifies the easy glamour and charm that California is all about.

"I stayed in the L.A. area for a week and this place was a highlight. There was a short wait upon arrival and we were treated to complimentary champagne during this time. While crowded (a good sign), it never felt uncomfortable or anxious as we waited only briefly for our table. We were seated outside amongst the beautiful plants and flowers. Weather was perfect so that added to it all! Scones were delicious. I could have eaten a hundred. I had the mushroom omelet with fruit - lovely! My husband chose an unexpected meal with Mexican flavors that he really enjoyed. It was a tiny bit pretentious, but that may have just been fleeting... Our server forgot the Brussels sprouts, but honestly I was too full to care. He brought boxes of cookies to make up for it (delicious!). Crème brulee was typical. Boring, but tasty. I would go back every week if I lived in the area. Special, unhurried, yummy."

"Surprisingly good food. Was expecting simple pub-style run of the mill food, but was pleasantly surprised with quality. Had the lobster deviled eggs. Very nice and filling. Husband had a beautiful chicken wrap. We were both more than satisfied with these choices. We didn't have drinks, but noticed lovely cocktails delivered at other tables. Service was slow, but very friendly."

Pizzeria Mozza is a bustling, urban burst of flavor and color. Open noon to midnight, seven days a week, Pizzeria Mozza is the perfect atmosphere - whether it be a business lunch or late night snack. The wine bar provides a vibrant venue for sampling from a selection of 50 Italian wines at $50 and under, but don't forget about the ample offering of antipasti, salumi and pizza.

Spago Beverly Hills, Wolfgang Puck's legendary, flagship restaurant, continues to set the standard for cuisine, service and style, and is consistently recognized as the ultimate in fine dining. Spago presents a completely new menu and design. The master chef has re-invented the entire menu with his signature farm to table philosophy. Spago's new design from Waldo Fernandez complements the food with its clean and simple aesthetic, incorporating natural elements to add an organic feel. Spago is the recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award and received two stars in The Michelin Guide-Los Angeles edition, one of only three restaurants in the city to win this coveted distinction. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, the restaurant earned the prestigious Wine Spectator Grand Award, the publication's highest honors.
"Very nice menu. Learned it changes frequently which is a good sign. Farmer's vegetables were amazing. Love that they came with a list of where they came from. Perfectly paired with the polenta. Of the 3 drinks I tried, I loved the green tea martini the best, but all were lovely. My husband enjoyed the steak, but would have liked just one more slice. Pumkin seed flatbread they come around with is awesome. Wish I could buy it in bulk to take home. Dessert menu was boring."

We've MOVED! Our new address is 8700 W. 3rd Street & George Burns Drive. A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced. Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and has some Mediterranean influences as well. We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable. And now, featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails. Reservations are encouraged.

"We really enjoyed AOC. The menu and style was fun and not too pretentious. Would have liked a few more cocktail options that were less artsy. Diver scallops were lovely. Husband loved the fried chicken. Service was good. All was fine. With tons of options and award-winning competition, this is a good stop if you are in town long enough to try a few."

"Delicious food. Hummus, chicken, pickles,... authentic and delicious. Service took away from the overall experience. I waited almost 14 minutes for someone to come over and say hello/take my order. At one point someone opened the door and left it open and it was freezing. Two of us complained and they finally closed it. Busser put another table's salt and pepper on my table while he was clearing. And, I asked for everything at once, but got it in pieces. Fortunately the taste was perfect so it made for a good night."

"We were a part of 6 including 2 children on New Year's Eve. On this chilly night it was a pleasure to enter the warm and comfortable environment. We parked on the street, but were informed there was also a lot out back. One of the owners greeted us and offered to pay our parking ticket if our meter ran over! Kids menu worked well with the typical choices. Moroccan Stew looked awesome - wish I got that! I had the beet salad which was lovely. Not crazy about the raw salmon app, but I think it's because of my own ignorance on what to expect. It was fine. Overall the drinks and food were both tasty and the service was perfectly timed. Would absolutely go back."
