COBBLESTONES opened in 1994 in the historically designated “Yorick Building”. Built as an exclusive boarding house by the Merrimack Manufacturing Co. during the Industrial Revolution (1859) the proud tradition of excellence continues. Featuring spacious, private rooms and a "bustling" bar scene, COBBLESTONES has earned numerous awards, been widely reviewed and hosted many celebrity dinners including Serena and Venus Williams, Ray Romano and (still) heart throb Barry Manilow! COBBLESTONES' atmosphere and menu successfully juxtapose old school classics as Braised Short Ribs and Mushroom Bordelaise with more current favorites such as Blackened Jumbo Shrimp with Jalapeno Sweet Cream Sauce. Located in the heart of Lowell National Historic Park, within walking distance of all major downtown attractions, COBBLESTONES offers the elegance of a grand dining room and classic cocktails, as well as, a casual, hip lounge serving a wide variety of craft beers and cutting edge cocktails.

"I don't know why the heat wasn't on. It was very chilly. Otherwise lovely environment. Service was attentive. Chef was accommodating. Steaks were a little on the fatty side and not very flavorful. Swordfish was great. Good portion sizes - enough for leftovers. Crème brulee was beautiful."

Boiler House Texas Grill & Wine Garden is a true Texas original. Situated in the historic Pearl Brewery complex on the San Antonio River Walk, this wine-centric restaurant occupies the former “boiler house” which powered the adjacent brewery. The menu focuses on grilled items from local farms and markets, with a focus on “Texas ranch-style” cuisine. These delicacies are paired with extraordinary wines from around the world (all available by the glass, bottle and “to-go”), live music and a casual yet energetic atmosphere. The unique list of wines features pricing based on a “retail” model, and boasts some of the lowest prices in the area.<br /><br />The restaurant incorporates various private dining areas suitable for private or corporate functions and an expansive outdoor patio area where guests can enjoy dining alfresco. Catering is also available at the restaurant or at a location of your choice.

"Loved the menu and easy to share plates. Saw the ravioli on-line so was disappointed to hear they are now off the menu. The breads are good, but maybe a little too much cheese (can you have too much cheese?). Service was slow, but the company was good so we were ok with that. Beer choices were fun. Would have loved a flight to try a few more. Desserts were so-so. We tried 3 and none had any wow factor. Bison meatballs rocked!"

"We were really looking forward to a special dinner and were disappointed. It's an old-timers idea of "fancy" with a very stuffy vibe and boring boring food. There were hardly any diners. Food was frozen tv dinner level."

"Had salmon with lentils and it was marvelous! Atmosphere was really nice for our group of 5. Cocktail list was fantastic. Will totally go back and I don't repeat often."
