Authentic, rustic, Italian fare featuring a variety of small plates, house-made charcuteries, breads, cheeses and antipasti. Wood-fired pizzas are also available along with house-made pastas, whole roasted fish and a premiere selection of meats during dinner.

"Good food, good service but what I liked most about Lupo Verde was the atmosphere/ambiance. Lively, buzzing, great energy but in an intimate setting. Great night out, but even better with a group of 4 or 6 next time!"

Matchbox offers fresh American inspired food and drink in a modern and eco-friendly setting. Our menu includes brick oven pizza, miniburgers, fresh seafood, and a fantastic brunch. Guests can dine on our outdoor patio in nice weather. As the winner of best new restaurant, Matchbox takes brick oven pizzas to a new level.

"Went here for dinner with a friend pre-Wizards game. Perhaps the food quality is tied to location since there are a few across the city but I was not overly impressed with my pizza. A bit over-cooked...service was inconsistent. Attentive at first and then we waited 20 mins to put in our order. We were late for tip-off as a result, not the end of the world but disappointing. Not in a rush to go back to this location."

"We were in the mood for a great steak so decided to give Bourbon Steak a try - we were pretty sure MIchael Mina & Four Seasons were a good combo. We had expectations but there were easily surpassed. Great service from start to finish, impeccable meal starting with frites (complimentary while enjoying our cocktails), tuna tartare to share as an appetizer (perfect). My husband ordered the 8oz Waygu ribeye and I ordered the natural, grass fed 8 oz filet. We shared the steaks and both were perfectly cooked (MR) and the Waygu was as amazing as one would expect (melt in your mouth). We had two sides to share (mushrooms, sauteed spinach). We ordered a great cab to accompany our dinner so from start to finish, a pretty perfect meal. Not an inexpensive dinner but we chose a nice bottle of wine (($100+) so that is to be expected and we felt it was money well spent. Definitely a special occasion kind of spot. Bar scene looked vibrant so we expect to go back to have a drink some time as well."

Chef Isabella serves seasonal, artisanal pizzas and small plates inspired by the food he grew up eating in New Jersey prepared by his Italian-American grandmother. With heavy influence from Chef Isabella’s Mediterranean and Latin culinary training, Graffiato is anything but a traditional Italian eatery. Roasted potato gnocchi with pork ragu, chicken thighs with pepperoni sauce, charred octopus with tomato mostarda and mint, and hanger steak with pancetta and wild mushrooms are a few of the signature wood oven roasted dishes. Broccolini with red pepper relish and smoked beets with sheep’s milk ricotta are popular first plates. When the kitchen closes, the oven will stay fired to feed Washingtonians looking for a late-night bite.

"We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Fiola. Everything was amazing, the food, the service, the pace...capped off with an amazing dessert (pistachio soufflé) & glass of bubbly (complimentary from restaurant). Pricey but worth it for a special occasion!"

Ardeo+Bardeo, located in the historic district of Cleveland Park -- four miles from the White House -- is a neighborhood favorite serving modern American cuisine. The restaurant underwent a major renovation in November 2010 to enhance the modern bistro and wine bar, uniting the two restaurants with a 24-seat island bar. Executive Chef Nate Garyantes has crafted a menu which features cured meats, soups and salads, savory snacks, seasonal vegetables dishes and brick oven baked flatbreads. Ardeo+Bardeo has become a virtual “Who’s Who” of Washington. Those who frequent include Madeleine Albright, Jim Lehrer, Alan Greenspan and the former first family, the Clintons.
