You'll be tempted by the tapas at this Streeterville eatery, from the team behind Emilio's (other location include Hillside). Its name means sun and snow, and the Spanish specialist serves a wide range of hot and cold choices, including grilled shrimp with garlic lemon butter sauce, baked goat cheese in tomato sauce, paella, among other fabulous tapas. The wine list features more than 60 choices, many available by the glass. The restaurant features colorful murals, tile mosaics and iron light fixtures. During summer time its patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy great tapas and sangria.

"Really enjoyed my meal at Emilio's. The food was excellent. Just what I think tapas should be. Small portions, reasonably priced, and with lots of variety. My server was a real professional. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area."

"Interesting fusion of cuisines here. If you don't like very spicy food or cilantro, as I don't, you have to do some creative dodging here. My server was very gracious and helpful in selecting items I would enjoy, and it did enjoy them. The same server was a little inattentive otherwise, and it took a lot to get her attention. All in all, good place if you like Indian Latin fusion."

10 Degrees South is the only restaurant of it's kind in the USA, specializing in South African cuisine. South African cuisine is a fusion of French, Portuguese, Dutch, German & Malaysian cuisines with strong Mediterranean influences. The restaurant was founded in 1998 in a small bungalow in Buckhead Atlanta. Six years later, inspiration was taken from the sophisticated & modern hotels of Cape Town to transform 10 Degrees South. 10 Degrees South offers the passion for life which means the love of friends, family, food & drink!

"Very unlike anything else in Atlanta. I'd never had South African cuisine before, but really enjoyed it. The beef bobotie was excellent, and complimented with a very nice South African wine. Service was flawless."

We know the word "fusion" has been wielded about to justify everything from Hula Burgers to Mexican lasagna. But the East-meets-South brand of fusion happening at Poor Calvin's? It's creative; it's innovative; and it's probably unlike anything you've tasted in the ATL. After working in kitchens around the world, Calvin Phan wanted to shake things up a little. And so, into the mac 'n cheese, the Thai spices went. Now, Calvin's giving Southern staples, like sea bass and fried chicken, a decidedly creative Asian-inspired twist (and a nip of spice, too). We didn't think good old-fashioned mac 'n cheese could get much better. And then, we tried Calvin's ridiculously rich take on the cheesy classic, gussied up with chunks of lobster and given a zing with Thai spices. This, and more innovative dishes, approached in much the same way, leave the hands of Calvin Phan day in and day out. His dedication and attention to detail are evident in each dish and dessert. You won't be disappointed.

"I had a great meal here. The food and drink were outstanding. Very creative menu. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. I ended up going for the crispy beef, and it was fantastic! The server was exactly what a server should be. Knowledgeable, excited about the menu, helpful, attentive (but not overly so), and friendly. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Atlanta, to keep going down the menu to try something else."

"Havana 1957 is good, if you want somewhat authentic Cuban food, but be warned that it's definitely a chain, and has a "chain restaurant" feel to it. Everything I had to eat was good, and the service was fine. If it's convenient to where you are, you'll probably enjoy it. The one negative for me was a VERY loud musician who sang and played so loud that conversation was nearly impossible. He was talented, but I didn't go for a concert."

"The food was very good, especially the quinoa and spinach salad. The view can't be beat, and the service was very good. I liked the fact that an appetizer is included with the main dish at no extra charge. The menu had good variety, and I thought the prices were very reasonable. I would go back."
