Stokes is a locally owned restaurant that features: Steaks and beef from Nebraska, fresh seafood, and daily specials, all with an imaginative southwestern touch. Stokes also features beer crafted in Nebraska and an award winning wine list with over 40 wines offered by the glass. Bottles of wine on the non-reserve list are featured as half priced on Tuesday evenings and Friday and Saturday evenings after 9:00 p.m. If you are looking for an interesting cocktail such as a bourbon drink served in a whiskey flask, a Moscow mule in a copper cup, or a great mojito, margarita, or sangria we"ve got that covered as well. The restaurant features one of the best patios in the Old Market on 12th Street and has expanded to include patio seating on Howard Street. The expansion also means a premier banquet area in the Old Market complete with audio visual equipment and creative menu option packages. Stokes also offers a wide array of off premise catering for any occasion or group.

Hiro 88 is an up-scale Pan-Asian restaurant in Omaha"s Old Market. Serving some of Omaha's best sushi along with award winning Chinese food we have something for everyone's palate. We offer an extensive selection of sake, wine, beer and liquor. We can accommodate up to 26 diners in our private room and have experience with events ranging from rehearsal dinners to pharmaceutical presentations. In addition to our dining room and lounge we also have two large patios. Both Patios have full dinner and drink service.

"Who knew there was such a great sushi place in Omaha? Great beef I would expect - but great sushi was a surprise. Everything was wonderfully fresh and well presented. I'll be going back on my next trip to Omaha."

"Really enjoyed my meal at Single Barrel. The steak was one of the best I've ever had (not surprising in Nebraska), and the handcut fries - the best I've had this side of the U.K. The bourbon selection was outstanding. The service was very friendly. Not stuffy. Just what I was looking for. Single Barrel hit the spot."

You'll be tempted by the tapas at this Streeterville eatery, from the team behind Emilio's (other location include Hillside). Its name means sun and snow, and the Spanish specialist serves a wide range of hot and cold choices, including grilled shrimp with garlic lemon butter sauce, baked goat cheese in tomato sauce, paella, among other fabulous tapas. The wine list features more than 60 choices, many available by the glass. The restaurant features colorful murals, tile mosaics and iron light fixtures. During summer time its patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy great tapas and sangria.

"Really enjoyed my meal at Emilio's. The food was excellent. Just what I think tapas should be. Small portions, reasonably priced, and with lots of variety. My server was a real professional. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area."

"Interesting fusion of cuisines here. If you don't like very spicy food or cilantro, as I don't, you have to do some creative dodging here. My server was very gracious and helpful in selecting items I would enjoy, and it did enjoy them. The same server was a little inattentive otherwise, and it took a lot to get her attention. All in all, good place if you like Indian Latin fusion."

10 Degrees South is the only restaurant of it's kind in the USA, specializing in South African cuisine. South African cuisine is a fusion of French, Portuguese, Dutch, German & Malaysian cuisines with strong Mediterranean influences. The restaurant was founded in 1998 in a small bungalow in Buckhead Atlanta. Six years later, inspiration was taken from the sophisticated & modern hotels of Cape Town to transform 10 Degrees South. 10 Degrees South offers the passion for life which means the love of friends, family, food & drink!

"Very unlike anything else in Atlanta. I'd never had South African cuisine before, but really enjoyed it. The beef bobotie was excellent, and complimented with a very nice South African wine. Service was flawless."

We know the word "fusion" has been wielded about to justify everything from Hula Burgers to Mexican lasagna. But the East-meets-South brand of fusion happening at Poor Calvin's? It's creative; it's innovative; and it's probably unlike anything you've tasted in the ATL. After working in kitchens around the world, Calvin Phan wanted to shake things up a little. And so, into the mac 'n cheese, the Thai spices went. Now, Calvin's giving Southern staples, like sea bass and fried chicken, a decidedly creative Asian-inspired twist (and a nip of spice, too). We didn't think good old-fashioned mac 'n cheese could get much better. And then, we tried Calvin's ridiculously rich take on the cheesy classic, gussied up with chunks of lobster and given a zing with Thai spices. This, and more innovative dishes, approached in much the same way, leave the hands of Calvin Phan day in and day out. His dedication and attention to detail are evident in each dish and dessert. You won't be disappointed.

"I had a great meal here. The food and drink were outstanding. Very creative menu. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. I ended up going for the crispy beef, and it was fantastic! The server was exactly what a server should be. Knowledgeable, excited about the menu, helpful, attentive (but not overly so), and friendly. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Atlanta, to keep going down the menu to try something else."
