Blending classic techniques with adventurous Pacific Rim flavors, culinary pioneer Roy Yamaguchi created an entirely new approach to fine dining. The first Roy's opened in Honolulu in 1988 and we've spread our warm hospitality and passion for innovative and creative cuisine around the world ever since. Indulge in one of our spectacular cocktails or choose a glass from our award-winning wine list while you discover the fresh ingredients and outstanding seafood, expertly prepared by our local chefs that made us famous.

We invite you to join us at Roy's Tampa located directly across from the International Mall and features a lively exhibition kitchen as well as two wonderfully appointed private dining rooms. Guests can also choose to watch their dinner and sushi being made up close at our chef’s counter.

"I read some very good reviews for Roy's and decided to go for pre theater dinner. The ambience was really very nice, clean and modern looking. Nothing special but pleasant. Our waiter and bus staff worked very hard to provide us with excellent service but fell short when the waiter forget my appetizer. We had the lobster dumplings and the tuna poke tartar both were OK, but, nothing special. For a main course, I had the mixed plate with 3 types of fish. The fish were drenched in sauce and each of the 3 fish portions were less than 2oz. The fish was overcooked and was overall very disappointing. My friend ordered the mixed plate of the chicken and Chilean sea bass tempura. His enjoyed his dish was much better than I did.
I felt as though the restaurant didn't live up to the hype and would opt for much better restaurants in the area such as Ocean Prime and Seasons 52."

"Deep blu was a good and highly rated restaurant. I'm a bit of a foodie and live in NY City and to me it was more like it was good because there was nothing wrong with it rather than it stood out or was special in anyway. Deep blu is a very typical and good restaurant. Can't find anything wrong with it, but, I was bored to tears.
The waiter was so overly polite and helpful that it was actually intrusive. He really tried very hard to provide excellent service, but, he just couldn't deliver and felt bad.
Although I wouldn't go back I can't say Deep blu was a bad restaurant."
