Experience the new db bistro moderne! Chef Daniel Boulud's contemporary French bistro has undergone a complete renovation. With the addition of a handsome new cocktail bar, and a newly-crafted menu db bistro serves updated bistro classics with a modern twist and market-driven French-American cuisine.

Located one block East of Times Square, db bistro is the perfect spot for pre- and post-theater dining, a Midtown business lunch or breakfast 'L'Express' of cappuccino and viennoisserie at the bar. A $48 pre-theater prix-fixe dinner menu is available in addition to a full a la care menu. The Lunch Prix Fixe menu will have you back to your desk of off to a matinee quickly and affordably.

DB is happy to host large parties and private events from 14-165 guests.

"Had reservation, but still ended up sitting in bar area. Service not what you would expect in a Daniel Boulud restaurant. Waiter was OK, but servers didn't know what they were doing. Brought out our food but didn't know which table it was for and then did not know who got what. Food was very mediocre. Skate special was overcooked and menu said meuniere, but almost no sauce on fish. Asked for more sauce, which was a mistake. Really bad. Companion had 'slow roasted chicken', which turned out to be two chunks of breast meat with no taste at all. Appetizers were also nondescript. Not what we expect from the most expensive restaurant in the Times Square area."

"Besrt restaurant near Kravis Center. Food is always good, but service can be spotty with long delays, especially between 6 and 8 when restaurant is typically crowded before events at Kravis. Also, they always try to seat you at the most remote or smallest tables available----always have to speak up, after walking past numerous empty tables in better locations..Why do so many restaurants do this?"
