Since opening in 1991, Zeffirelli Ristorante Italiano has been established as a fine tradition in historic Herndon. The 100 year old building adds character and ambiance to Zeffirelli’s dining experience. Our formal service, candlelit tables, exquisite Tuscan cuisine, and fine wines set an incomparable atmosphere for our patrons.
KNOWN FOR ITS BEST VEAL CHOP IN THE REGION

Please see our Valentine's Menu at
www.zeffirelliva.com

"That night they had several large groups. Perhaps as a result service was really terrible. I wish they hadn't taken my reservation. Arrived on time and my coast was taken. They left me b y the doorway for 15 minutes with no explanation. They gave me a tiny table right by two loud groups. Long wait to order. Longer waits for food. My entre finally arrived 70 minutes after my arrival. Had to grab a waiter to get a second glass of wine.
The food was actually fairly well prepared. Good fennel salad and veal picatta.
I hope never to go back. There are a number of alternatives where one can get both good food and good service."

Dante Restaurant is located in the historic Leigh House, a beautifully renovated Victorian mansion. It is known for its fine Italian cuisine, elegant service, and uniquely warm and inviting atmosphere. Nestled in the lush countryside of Great Falls, Virginia, Dante is just minutes from Tysons Corner and Reston Town Center.

"Dante has been very consistent of the years. I go there 4-5 times a year and the food is consistently very well prepared, the service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Here is a place to have great food and wine while being able to linger with conversation and never that you are being rushed."

"It is closed to the holidays and the waitresses were wearing reindeer horns. Everybody was very friendly. I had 4-5 small plates each of which were quite good. I recommend the tofu (yeah I don't usually like it either), the pickles, the nigiri sushi, and the clam miso."

"We were looking for a nice lunch to celebrate a business success. While the food was very nicely done, the lack of service was quite a damper and become the primary subject of conversation.
A 30 min wait order. We asked four different times for our cocktails and were assured each time that they were coming.
A 20-30 min wait our first course came. We still didn't have our cocktails, bread, or wine. Finally our cocktails arrived .
We asked about our wine. By now you know the drill.
A 20 - 25 min wait for our main course came.
The service overall was fairly formal. Spruce recognized that they weren't delivery and ended up analogizing and comping us for our drinks.
We don't feel ripped off, but just very disappointed."
