Salt House Tavern - A 75-seat, contemporary tavern housed in an old printing press warehouse built in the 1930’s. Exposed brick, original hardwood floors, 12 foot windows and oversized rusted iron girders. Contemporary American fare ranging from raw bar plateaus to local cheeses, appetizers and heartier main dishes. Wines from all over the world, local beers and an extensive cocktail list. Full menu anywhere you'll sit down - at the bar, the communal table, the front window counter or in the dining room!

"Our meal was very nicely done. an understated corn chowder, water melon salad, and the fish.
It was quite noisy and cramped (too clear an understanding of the conversations around us)"

Cafe Pro Bono is a place for taste conscious people. We serve a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes at reasonable prices with a freshness you can see and taste. Our menus include delicious, attractively presented appetizers, fresh pastas, fresh fish, steaks, chicken, salads, sandwiches, homemade desserts and wines to complement your meal.

"A nice middle tier restaurant with friendly service and well-executed dishes. Not fancy but a solid place to go with co-workers and clients."

"We had modestly high hope and the restaurant did not rise to them. Tough and chewy pork belly. Broth without flavor.
Nice people but pretty poor food."

We offer a carte blanche 3-course or 5-course menu that changes nightly, along with pairings to complement the evening menu. Bites and a la carte selections from the nightly menu are available at the small 5-6 seat bar. In addition, we offer wines by the glass, bottle, and low proof cocktails.

"This is our third visit to Nico. The first visit blew us away. The second was just not as good as the first and a disappointment. However, on my third visit, every course was really great and of course the wine pairings were fantastic. These service was friendly and good. Overall, a very positive experience.
We tried the rabbit rillet, the fantastic utterly tender squid, and the lamb. Every dish was great.
My only quibble was that it got so noisy that everybody was shouting. I would really like to see more sound deadening."
