Beatrix is a neighborhood restaurant, coffeehouse and meeting place located in Chicago’s River North. Our chef partners Susan Weaver, Rita Dever and John Chiakulas have created a menu inspired by food made in Lettuce’s test kitchen.

Beatrix is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night offerings.

All pastries, breads and sweets are baked in house daily. Some of our favorites include Seeded Rye English Muffins, Honey Butter Cinnamon Buns and Thin & Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies. Our coffee and tea program will showcase two iconic Chicago roasters, Intelligensia and Metropolis.

"Decent Kale salad for a start. But it was followed by soggy chicken drowning in a puddle of thick, gelatinous tasteless sauce. The meatloaf also was bland and drenched with sauce. Lettuce really misses the boat with this one. There are too many good bar-food restaurants in the area to bother trying this one."
