Located on a unique garden plaza with romantic East River views, Riverpark represents a dynamic culinary destination in Manhattan’s Kips Bay neighborhood. Riverpark reflects Tom Colicchio's overall vision as restaurateur, and Chef Sisha Ortuzar's creative concept showcasing the restaurant's own urban farm just feet away from the kitchen. Riverpark's modern American menus change daily, highlighting seasonal ingredients from local farms, Greenmarkets and Riverpark Farm.

"We had the best waitress ever! I forgot to mention one member of the party was vegetarian. She took care it it .. no problem. We ate from the snack menu as well as the regular menu, duck, pork chop and fish were delicious as was the Blush Granache wine from Loire Valley. Outside patio is a must on a gorgeous night! Bar and interior decor are stunning as well."

"River Park is a gorgeous restaurant with the added advantage of the outdoor patio overlooking Brooklyn and the East River. A party of four, we enjoyed East Coast Oysters, White Asparagus Gazpacho with green almonds, cucumbers grapes and nasturtium... a delicious sensation, Bigoli pasta w/ charred onions, ramps, charred breadcrumbs another winner. Sweetbreads w/Fresno chile, sugar snap peas, crispy ginger and lemon purée, and a signature dish of Hamachi/Avocado salad with charred chile, spicy and delicious. We had an accommodation for a vegetable plate that had a wonderful combination of greens, egg, fava beans with a Mediterranean twist. We enjoyed Sisha Ortúzar's inventive menu. We'll be back to sample more."

WELCOME TO VERDE ON SMITH RESTAURANT, located in Brooklyn's Cobble Hill. Established in 2009 by Cono Morena, our food is rooted in the traditions of Northern Italian cuisine with a Southern accent. Only the finest organic ingredients are used for all dishes to be savored and enjoyed with our extensive wine list. Verde on smith is the marrying of Italian traditional cooking with a contemporary twist and a modern setting. Cono Morena was born in Salerno, Italy. He moved to New York in 1968 where he began his career in restaurant management. In 1985, he opened his first restaurant, Primadonna, located in Forest Hills, Queens. Verde is a result of over 35 years experience as a chef, manager and restaurant owner in New York.

"The restaurant was lovely in it's simplistic design. Nice bar. The food was fine nothing special. Italian restaurants abound in the neighborhood. The food at Verde isn't innovative Italian nor is it the food your grandmother cooked. The chef needs to do something to distinguish him/her self."
