An Ofrenda, in Spanish, is an offering, a gift. At their cozy West Village space, owner Jorge Guzman and Chef Mario Hernandez offer their unique interpretation of classic Mexican cuisine with an innovative cocktail menu of tequila-based drinks.
Named by NYLuxury as “one of the top ten restaurants in New York serving Latin food” and as “Top Tequila Bar in the US” by the editors of USA Today, this intimate and stylish cocina offers its guests a blend of passions. Jorge’s desire is to create a sexy and fun space to enjoy creative cocktails with the best of Latin cuisine. While Chef Mario’s dream is to craft dishes to showcase the indigenous ingredients of Mexico, the foods his ancestors enjoyed, and bring those flavors to a new generation.
This team has joined forces to offer guests a unique dining experience. We look forward to having you.
Bar Gitano, a Spanish Tasca located in the Condado beach district in the heart of San Juan, is the latest project from Chef Roberto Treviño and business partner Francisco De Juan of Out of this World Restaurants.

With its ample bar, al fresco Terrace and magnificent dining room, the duo created a space that seems plucked out of a traditional Spanish city. Its rustic décor of brick, wood and artwork depicting castanets and bullfighters lends a truth of Spanish culture.

The menu consists of 21 authentic & original Spanish tapas, an assortment of Spanish cheeses & cold cuts, Cocas, which are small pizzetas, all accented by a variety of Paellas.

El Asador, where you can find the best seafood and meat cuts, as well as some Puerto Rican cuisine, has a prime location near Old San Juan"s entrance, and right in the heart of the Old City's nightlife. The stylish and exclusive décor of this Bar & Restaurant, accentuated by a magnificent interior patio, provides the perfect environment for a delightful, cozy and sophisticated experience. Whether you are looking for an early lunch, a romantic dinner, or even if you are looking to have a couple of drinks with friends, El Asador is your ultimate destination.

"I really wanted to like this place. The menu looks delicious, and the place is beautifully done. But when you are out of most of your food, including the advertised prix-fixe at $23.50 and everything else on the menu, we went elsewhere. Be sure to check that they have food before going."

"We made a 9:45pm reservation, even stopping in personally a day earlier to confirm. When we arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation, they had given away our reserved table, and placed us upstairs away from the windows and away from the live band playing downstairs. After some patience, we got an amazing table on the outdoor deck next to the ocean. While the bar and waiter service was spectacular, it took over 2 hours to get our first course of a four course New Year's Eve dinner. After celebrating at midnight, we paid for our drinks and left, since all we received for our meal was two cups of soup (which were delicious and still warm). Oceano: GET IT TOGETHER! I'm not sure what chaos occurred in the kitchen, or with the hosts..."
