Located on West Street in historic downtown Annapolis, Crush Kitchen & Winehouse offers an eclectic American menu served in a unique and casual atmosphere. High ceilings, exposed brick and a spiral staircase to nowhere are remnants of the buildings’ 80 years as a fire and rescue station, adding a sense of the unexpected to every meal. Chef Mike Morrone's culinary creations combine unconventional ingredients with traditional comfort foods - alligator sausage served with green chile coleslaw and shepard's pie made with bison and red wine. Finish your meal with a house-made dessert, updated seasonally and ranging from decadent chocolate cake to a summer fruit crisp. Whether you drop in on a Tuesday night or make us part of a special occasion, every visit to Crush Kitchen and Winehouse will be warm and welcoming, but always unique.

""Shrimp and chorizo pasta"
Absolutely out of this world. We stopped in to Crush on our way around the city (We were visiting because we bought a house in Annapolis and wanted to see some of the 'digs'), and...in the span of 3 days we'd returned two more times after that. Mainly just for that pasta, man! INCREDIBLE! The brie is unbelievable, too, as was the service. The perky hostess with curly hair was SUPER helpful, as was the blonde hostess/server who turned into our exclusive bartender / recommender / sommelier / breadrunner / cheerleader for our entire stay. So professional, so helpful-- and that goes for everyone we encountered, all three times we were there that weekend :)
We will ABSOLUTELY be back! You've won two new regulars!"

"Not only did we get a corner window seat, we were seated almost an hour before our reserved time, AND Kristen (Christie?) was AMAZING!! What fabulous fabulous service--and she had a HUGE table of like 20 to take care of, too. Brava! The food was outstanding (a few of us had the Restaurant Week choices) and everyone left incredibly satisfied-- Thanks, Chart House Old Town!!!"

What better place to be, than three blocks from the White House, walking distance from the Mall, across the street from the Warner Theatre, and right in the heart of Downtown? For over 8 years, Chef Geoff's Downtown has happily served Capitol Hill, theatergoers, business brokers, neighborhood friends and D.C. visitors alike with our New American Cuisine. Our expansive menu is designed to please. Enjoy 1/2 Price CG Burgers and $8.95 Pizza Pies during our phenomenal happy hour. Join us every Sunday for Brunch and every Monday for Half Price Wines. We truly have something for everyone and look forward to seeing you soon. Cheers! Chef Geoff

"We went to see Jim Gaffigan the other night, and started with dinner at Chef Geoff's (which we'd been wanting to try for years)-- turns out everyone else at that show had the same idea. While the food was OUTSTANDING (gouda grits anyone??), the service was only so-so. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years, I know what it's like to be both a server AND a host on nights when you're expecting 400+ people to come through- with reservations- to your restaurant... But making every. single. person. who walks in feel like they've got an hourglass on their table doesn't make for a very relaxed dining experience. Luckily, we eat like it's going out of style, so we were out in like 40 minutes (great, fast food service!)...but..."

Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar features Nuevo Cubano cuisine by two-time James Beard award-winning Chef Guillermo Pernot. Pernot's menus feature tantalizing tastes that are derived from the exotic island"s culinary traditions, which include Spanish, African, Creole and Asian influences. The restaurant's atmosphere transports guests to Old Havana circa the 1950s. One-of-a-kind millwork and architectural salvage including unique doors, gates, cabinetry, furniture and accessories help capture the essence of old Cuban architecture. Colorful exotic foliage and large potted palm trees add to Cuba Libre's open-air, tropical ambiance. Featuring a selection of over 70 rums, Cuba Libre's uniquely refreshing house specialty, the mojito, is made from the authentic Cuban recipe of combining rum, fresh lime juice, fresh mint leaves, a splash of soda and most distinctively, guarapo, sugar cane juice pressed daily on site.

"When I booked a dinner at Cuba Libre, I did NOT expect to open the door and walk into a Latin city itself! Wow. INCREDIBLE dinner followed by professional salsa dancers and open salsa dancing floor? Si, por favor! Will DEFINITELY be going back here for a night out!"
