"Dishes were very tasty and well-prepared. We had pork chili verde and chili rellenio. Both were excellent. Appreciate the salad option to sub for traditional rice/beans."

Delivering the bounty of the eastern shore line to the Upper West Side is Ed’s Chowder House, a new restaurant by Chef Ed Brown (chef/owner of Michelin Star-rated restaurant eighty one) and China Grill Management. Inspired by the ports of the East Coast, Brown’s refined yet unpretentious take on authentic “sea shack cuisine” features signature seafood in a vibrant, energetic setting complete with a raw bar and a full-service Chowder Bar serving crisp cocktails, cold microbrews, namesake chowders, steamers, lobster rolls and more.

"For a quick meal before an event at Lincoln Center, this is a great spot. We enjoyed the excellent chowder (try the sampler if you can't choose) and the sea scallops."

"We received excellent service for our tight time frame to get to the theatre. We had two different seafood pastas with some outstanding wine by the glass. The waiter was very helpful with the wine selections."

A Livanos' family creation, Molyvos is the closest you can get to Greece in New York City. Critics agree that Molyvos serves perhaps the finest example of Greek cuisine in New York, and beyond. People from around the world have discovered that Molyvos serves the true foods and wines of Greece, along with a large dose of the country’s warm and lively spirit. Molyvos’ menu is built upon the home-style cooking of Greece using authentic recipes, classical cooking techniques and superior ingredients. The wine list, under the keen direction of Kamal Kouiri, is unique for its depth and breadth of excellent Greek labels and small producers from the Mediterranean whose wine deserves to be enjoyed. Molyvos also boasts a carefully selected Pre and Post-theatre menu that perfectly accompanies an evening of entertainment.

"We come here every year and the food is always high quality. Distinctive wine list features Greek wines.
We had the featured wine which was outstanding, grilled octopus, and prix fixe menu. All good, although with hindsight it would have been more interesting to get small plates a la carte.
