The all-new Bacchanale is a modest Italian restaurant from the team that launched django’s restaurant at the base of Mt. Crested Butte in 2008. Our fresh and light menu will re-introduce you to simple flavors, colorful salads, artisan flatbreads and handmade specialties.

Our comfortable atmosphere will entice you to come every day. Join us nightly for dinner from 5-10pm, and pick your favorite spot: at the bar, the community tables, along the banquette benches, in our private dining rooms, or on the balcony overlooking it all.

During the summer, bistro seating on Elk Avenue let's you watch the action, enjoy the sunshine and surf the web, all while enjoying a Campari & soda.

At 7am every morning, we're up again to serve you organic coffee, fresh house-made pastries, and specialty breakfast items.

"We selected this restaurant as we had a great experience at Django (same owner). Food is great, but portions are small. We waited over an hour for our food (many around us who were seated later got served before us). The food was really meager after a hard day of hiking, but we didn't want to order more and wait yet another hour for it. No bread was served and we had drunk too much wine without food. Small plates need to be served promptly and with the selected wine! Instead of leaving pleasantly satisfied, we went home and ate whatever we could find at our rental."

The Evolution of Tradition is presented with Executive Chef Javier Romero introducing a new approach to some classic tapas. From old school tapas battling it out to healthy & organic salads, there's something for everyone. Celebrating our 25th Anniversary this 2014 and a young team bringing innovative techniques, we continue to show the best our culture has to offer.

"Our meat entrees were excellent-- rack of lamb, pork tenderloin, and beef tenderloin. However, the beet salad lacked pizazz. We did not order from the tasting menu as it was not well-balanced. Our wine selection turned out to be just so-so, but to be fair we did not follow the waitress recimmendation. We have enjoyed their wine flights in the past."
