"I was disappointed in my visit to Scott's. Was looking forward to a great seafood dinner after having a couple good experiences previously. The menu looked great, but the food was very bland. The service was also very slow. The martini was excellent even though the waiter mixed up our pours."

1300 on Fillmore is a restaurant and lounge that draws on the rich cultural history of San Francisco's Fillmore Jazz District. The restaurant serves "Soulful American" Cuisine, accompanied by a list of the finest California wines.

Soulful American Cuisine prepared as interpreted by internationally recognized chef David Lawrence. Lawrence combines classic French cooking techniques with hints of southern flavors using fresh, California seasonal ingredients. His north-meets-south cuisine includes imaginative creations such as dungeness crab and corn cakes, fresh water shrimp hush puppies, as well as refined interpretations of
southern favorites including macaroni and cheese and okra succotash.

Highlights include a heritage wall with portraits of the Fillmore’s vast array of blues and jazz legends. The
décor is eclectic and familiar, achieved by co-mingling vintage-inspired fabrics with modern interpretations of classic furnishings.

Skates on the Bay is known for their fresh market ingredients, innovative menu, and spectacular views of the bay, Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, and San Francisco.
This beautiful and historic waterfront gathering place for fresh seafood and unmatched views of the San Francisco Bay, recently completed (April, 2012) a major interior design renovation, including the addition of a new raw bar, glass-walled private dining room and innovative menus. Originally opened in 1983 in the Berkeley Marina, the reimagined Skates on the Bay is a stunning restaurant to enjoy cocktails at sunset, late night Happy Hour, weekday lunch, weekend lunch or brunch with the family or dinner with a date any time of year.

Yoshi's has served Japan's best traditional dishes to Bay Area patrons since 1972. The menu highlights artfully arranged sushi, fresh grilled seafood, classic Japanese dishes, and vegetarian fare. Patrons can kick off their shoes in the traditional Japanese tatami seating or dine at tables. Expert
sushi chefs create sushi and sashimi to order either in the restaurant or in
the jazz house. Start the evening in the cocktail lounge before dinner or
have a nightcap after taking in a show in the jazz house.

"If I'm going to a concert at Yoshi's, I always food and/or drinks before the concert. Great spot to chill and get in the mood. Sushi is fresh and drink pours are generous."
