Susan's Reviews

With a casual atmosphere and a classic menu, Petit Robert Bistro feel like an authentic French bistro. Francophiles with a hankering for onion soup gratinee, steak-frites and apple tarte tatin need not break the bank, as the bistro keeps its prices modest. Those with a sweet tooth enjoy made-to-order souffle or a giant profiterole. Bon Appetit!

"This was our first visit to Petite Robert. The food was very good not great. The onion soup was luke warm. Pate was delicious. I had the Coq au vin which was great. My husband had the salmon and found it boring.
Our biggest gripe was the timing. We were seating promptly for our 8:00 p.m. reservation. Our friendly waitress took our drink order right away. We ordered dinner when the wine came. The appetizer appeared before we had more than a few sips of wine. Our plates were cleared while we were still chewing our last bite and dinner was immediately plunked down on the table. Again, our plates were cleared the minute we had the last bite. We were done and out the door at 8:50. There was no wait to turn over the table so what's the rush?
I would recommend this place for a decent quick bit. Not an evening out destination."
