"Really great food for the price. Lots of selection. This place was packed when we got there and we understood why. Definitely worth giving it a try if you find yourself in Annapolis."

Heavy Seas Alehouse is a place where sailors tell stories but pyrates make legends! It is high time fans of Heavy Seas Beer are able to experience Baltimore’s best and locally owned craft brewery in its own ship. Our menu features fresh and seasonal ingredients that we source locally whenever possible. The dishes are simple in appearance with bold and assertive flavors that stand up to the intense beers we are known for…ARRRRGGGHHHH! The Alehouse is located in the Tack Factory building and combines the charm and character of the historic space with the bold industrial elements reminiscent of the Holland Tack Factory that occupied the building for more than 90 years.

"We went here on New Year's eve because it was conveniently located near the NYE party and we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for NYE dinner this year. I'd say the brewery is likely best for lunch and keep your expectations on the mid-level for the "gastro-pub" concept. The food was just OK. I imagine simple food like burgers are probably pretty good, but they didn't offer them on the evening menu on NYE. A bit disappointed since it seems many are recommending the place.... maybe it's because their beer really is one of the best micro-brews in Baltimore."

The Tersiguel family have been serving their unique version of French food for over 40 years. The menu at Tersiguel's is a combination of authentic French-style cooking and rustic country fare reminiscent of cuisine found in Tersiguel's original home of Brittany, France. Tersiguel's Cuisine is reflective of the seasons, with a garden that produces lettuces, herbs, vegetables, fruits and edible flowers. When the Garden is not producing Chef Michel Tersiguel will personally go and hand pick all fruit and vegetables at the whole sale market in Jessup, Maryland. Tersiguel's is quintessential French Country "from the farm to your plate" cooking. Chef Tersiguel describes his food as "French soul food". The Tersiguel family has operated one of the regions best restaurants for over 40 years and continues this tradition with annual ratings of "Best French Restaurant" from the Zagat and Baltimore Magazine.

"This place is really hyped around the Baltimore area, but I'm not quite sure why. There are plenty of better places for the price. The food was pretty good, but I wouldn't say it was outstanding. I was particularly disappointed with the escargot, which I would think would have been phenomenal for a high end French restaurant. Also, they prepared a really nice NY Strip and pork belly pairing as a special and then "prepared it table-side", which was just odd because the meat looked great cooked as is. However, they sliced the NY Strip and cooked it on a dry skillet to heat it up and then attempted to slice a beautiful cube of pork belly and just mutilated it. It was over-thought and poorly executed. I doubt we'll return."
