NOHO's Mediterranean-American where a "stream runs through the middle". It's "feng shui all the way" at this "sexy" "serene" find. Sumptuous fare is served with class. "It goes the extra mile to accommodate you."

"We ate here for dinner with some friends. We had a great experience. This restaurant has a relaxed, low-key vibe, while also feeling energetic. We did not feel rushed with ordering or anything, which is nice when you're catching up with friends. The portions of the meat dishes are LARGE compared to other NYC restaurants, which was nice when you're paying $30 for an entree (feel like you're getting your money's worth).
Enjoy!

Bruce Auden's award-winning BIGA ON THE BANKS is located in a spectacular setting in downtown San Antonio's modern International Center. Overlooking a romantic tree-canopied bend in the river, the historic and the new find common ground in Biga's dynamic re-emergence with ultra contemporary cuisine propelling San Antonio's recent ascent to a new level of River Walk dining. Gourmet Magazine named Biga one of the five best restaurants in Texas. Fine dining has never meant "fussy" to Chef Auden. Biga's ambiance is casual and relaxed - San Antonio style. Auden's celebrated culinary background, coupled with creative and energetic design, has marked Biga on the Banks as one of Texas' truly outstanding restaurants.

"We had a great meal here, one of the best during our trip to San Antonio and Austin. We ordered the scallops to start. I had the beef tenderloin. My companion had the venison (surf n' turf) combo. We also ordered the onion rings as a side because we just couldn't resist! Everything was delicious. We also had a nice bottle of wine from a local Texas vineyard. While the food seems priced on the higher side, I'd say the portions more than make up for it. I live in NYC and I don't know when the last time was that I saw a 10 oz beef tenderloin on the menu! Maybe 8 oz, but never 10. Also, the wine is very reasonably priced, so it all balances out."

The Granary showcases a menu of traditional central Texas Barbecue, while bringing diners something intriguing and new by introducing various Barbecue traditions and flavors from throughout the world in the form of exquisitely composed dishes that employ the universal techniques of cooking with smoke and live fire. The Granary aims to take Barbecue in San Antonio (and Texas) to another level; a level of pristine product, humanely raised animals, and locally sourced seasonal produce.
The restaurant strives to place equal emphasis on brewing exceptional Craft Beers in-house. Offering guests a wide variety of flavors and styles; ranging from light and mild to bold and dark. House beers are crafted to compliment the menu offerings at The Granary.
Bringing technique, focus, skillset, creativity, passion, and drive to the concept of Barbecue and house-brewed Craft Beer in San Antonio, The Granary offers an elevated, but approachable, experience not replicated anywhere else.

"Granary offers the best for all of the above! Great food, with a twist on the traditional BBQ dishes. Friendly service. Nice menu selection. We had a great time there, and other parties looked to be doing the same. Well done, Granary!"
