Eddie Merlot's Prime-aged Beef and Seafood starts with U.S.D.A. Prime Beef and the freshest seafood. Eddie Merlot"s has created one of the hottest concepts today; the wine bar provides more than 75 wines by the glass and a very extensive reserve wine collection by the bottle. The bar is stocked with all of the finest spirits and after dinner cordials and Cognacs. Eddie Merlot's boasts a contemporary but stunningly elegant interior design and atmosphere—where guests can have fun, relax and enjoy listening to up-tempo music, while dressed in business or casual attire.

"Great service, we had the fun red/white wine flight and each individual bottle was brought to the table and the wine was introduced to us in interesting fashion. Best bread in the world, even better than French baguettes! Both my wife and I loved our entrees. Classy place."

"Waited with two others at our outdoor table for over 10 minutes for a server to attend to us, as two servers continued ignoring us while serving other tables. Went to hostess and asked if a server was assigned to us and eventually a sullen employee came out. Pasta was mushy and overcooked. Won't go back, that's for sure."

Perennial Virant is a collaborative effort between Boka Restaurant Group and acclaimed Chef Paul Virant. Paul won Food & Wine Best New Chef America 2007 and was a James Beard finalist for Best Chef Great Lakes 2011. The modestly priced menu is comprised of small, medium, and large plates.<br />Perennial Virant has one of the most magnificent patios in Chicago located right across from the Green City Market. Brunch is served both Saturday and Sunday.

"Delicious risotto, papardelle and short rib dishes. Pate appetizer also deelish. Excellent red wines by the glass and fun cocktails. Server was quite untrained and unfamiliar with the menu (couldn't answer any questions), but was friendly and attentive. Great place."

Rosebud Italian Specialties & Pizzeria provides an innovative perspective on traditional Italian cuisine with a chef driven, weekly changing menu, focusing on regional dishes and fresh ingredients. In addition to Rosebud classics including Chicken Vesuvio and Square Noodles which are staples on the menu, thin crust, Chicago-style pizzas smothered in an assortment of toppings are a fresh addition. Pies are large enough for a table to share as an appetizer, encouraging guests to savor the flavors and one another’s company before indulging in a second course. The goal is to present two distinct dining options, a more casual, family friendly pizzeria offering carry-out as well as a white tablecloth dining room where pizzas are served in addition to the weekly menu. The energetic atmosphere throughout both spaces is casual rustic Italian with striking hardwood floors, a Stone Pizza Oven, and an Antipasto Bar, providing an ideal atmosphere to enjoy a relaxing meal.

"Large portions. Excellent friendly service. My linguini and fusilli were overcooked, I prefer Al Dente. Salmon side dish overcooked to be a bit dry. Daughter and wife enjoyed their dishes."
