Shippanee's Reviews

Elegant New-American cuisine using locally grown and sustainably raised foods cooked using modern French styles and honoring classic technique. The ever-changing menu is printed daily, tied with twine, and contains the finest ingredients sourced from small farmers and local fishermen.

"A marvelous convergence of superb, interesting but not esoteric cuisine; attentive, friendly service, and warm, friendly ambiance. No pretension, just a perfect dining experience."

With a focus on local products and seasonal produce Nick & Toni's Cafe Manhattan prepares fresh food simply. We source locally whenever possible and shop the NYC Green markets with twice-weekly visits to our neighbors at the Tucker Square market and others the including Union Square and Ft. Greene markets.

The wood fired oven puts out perfectly crispy pizzas everyday at lunch and Sun-Thurs at dinner. Friday & Saturday nights be prepared for a special treat because, although there are no pizzas, many house specialties such as the Roasted Chicken, Whole Fish of the Day, or Scallops are prepared in the wood oven.

We have a diverse and high quality selection of wines by the glass, and a moderately priced wine list. We also feature a full bar and an extensive cocktail list including a number of house infused alcohols that suit the seasons.

** For reservations of parties of 5 or more please call the restaurant directly.

At (Khe-Yo), Executive Chef Soulayphet Schwader has partnered with Marc Forgione to bring Laotian-inspired Southeast Asian cuisine to TriBeCa in a warm, comfortable setting. Showcasing the best ingredients through Laotian techniques and flavors, the menu is designed for sharing and encourages guests to explore and taste a wide variety of dishes. Each wine on our concise, all-French list is available by the glass in addition to sake, beer and signature Southeast Asian-inspired specialty cocktails.
