Celebrating 23 years at Stove & Table in 2014, This farm to table kitchen + bar focuses on simplicity of fine natural, organic ingredients from Nantucket farms, local fishermen & regional purveyors of heritage meats. The exceptional market driven menu is overseen by talented Chef-de-Cuisine, Tony Adams in partnership with Executive-Chef/Owner, Seth Raynor. The menu focuses on Modern Comfort, dishes are familiar but as one reviewer recently said- ‘the food your mom would have made if she went to culinary school.’ Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, features 400 selections.Lively Bar & Patio

Owners, Seth & Angela Raynor (The Pearl + Corazon del Mar) believe in old-school hospitality without pretense, for many locals & visitors the Boarding House is their home away from home.

"Went to River Café on a cold February evening- as soon as we entered, we were warmed by the atmosphere and the setting. One of the best views of lower Manhattan from Brooklyn Heights. The menu selections were extensive and the wine list even more so. Selected a Shafer Hillside Select for a special evening. Food was very well prepared and presented- simply delicious. The wait staff was extremely attentive, but not overbearing- what you would expect from an establishment of this caliber. Would recommend River Cafe to anyone looking for a special evening out!"
