Nana's Reviews

With regionally inspired Italian cuisine, an innovative beverage program and the city’s only official bocce ball court, Bocce brings a jovial, old-school Italian vibe to Miami. Named the “Best Restaurant in Midtown” by the Miami New Times, Bocce is helmed by Chef Daniel Tackett, whose impressive résumé includes stints at New York City’s Alto and Scarpetta. Reminiscent of classic markets throughout Italy, Bocce is dedicated to producing and sourcing the best ingredients available.

The menu features a mix of contemporary and classic dishes, like braised beef short rib with horseradish crust and house-made beet- and goat-cheese-filled ravioli. Behind the bar, mixologists craft artisanal cocktails concocted with an array of house-made apertivos, digestivos and liqueurs. Whether you stop by for a sun-drenched brunch or sultry romantic dinner, a game of bocce ball rounds out your visit for a delicious, fun and memorable meal.

— Megan Wieczorek, Gilt City Editor
