"Pride's Osteria has new menus, and a new chef- it's a seamless transition. Although my husband was crazy for the pesto- he enjoyed the new one as well, and found it to be more substantial. I tried chicken; a huge serving and very delicious. A must have for dessert is the trio of fruit sorbetto- so wonderful on a hot evening! The service is always wonderful."

Le Rivage offers you a cozy, romantic French country atmosphere where traditional French cuisine is expertly prepared for your pleasure. Fresh flowers embellish each table. Prices are delightfully affordable with incredibly rewarding selections; a true bargain in the heart of the theatre district.

"We love to come to NYC for shows and we always dine at Le Rivage. This Memorial week end, it poured rain between shows and we were grateful we had a reservation. The service is always splendid and the food keeps getting better. I was afraid I wouldn't care for the new salmon preparation- I love to have it poached, but this was cooked to order and it was wonderful. Also, no one does escargot better than Le Rivage. The wine selection is outstanding- another wonderful meal!"

"Another wonderful meal at Prides Osteria. I tried the halibut which was sumptuous and delicate and my husband had pasta. I'm not a meat eater and so it's wonderful to find seafood that is not run of the mill. I was happy to find that our wine choice (new to us) was from organic grapes and we'd appreciate more of these choices. A meal at Prides Osteria is always a special one!"

"Our second trip to Prides Osteria was wonderful; this time, I tried the cod dish- it was sumptuous, delicately seasoned and delicious. My husband seems obsessed with the pesto pasta. Once again, the beets were wonderful, and this time we shared a rich chocolate square for dessert. Although there were five other tables occupied, it was not at all noisy which was a pleasant experience. I'm sure we will become regulars at Prides Osteria."

"Ithaki is a little out of our way, but well worth the trip. My husband and I both had seafood entrees which were perfectly cooked and deliciously prepared; we chose a great wine from the generous selection. We appreciate that the bar is separated from the main dining room- in some other restaurants, the noise from a bar can be overwhelming. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and plan to return."

"We discovered Prides Osteria on Open Table and decided to try it. Service was gracious and helpful, the menu was interesting and appealing plus a very good selection of wine. My husband was determined to try the award winning pesto and was not disappointed; I had the lobster ravioli and it was the best I've ever had. This dish was prepared with a tasty but not overpowering red sauce and the pasta was delicate and filled with lobster meat- excellent! Often lobster ravioli is prepared in a too heavy cream sauce but this was exquisite- do try it ! We shared a plate of cooked beets and then cannoles for desert. The bar is in a separate room from the dining- we appreciate this as some bars can be noisy and overwhelm. We shall return soon."

"Always a pleasure to dine at Legal; it's a little out of our way and we often arrive early for our res., but there's never a problem. They always have a comfy booth for us. My husband loves the oysters and the seafood entrees are the best. This time we noticed the wine list- a huge selection of interesting wines, important to us, not being cocktail enthusiasts. We shall be back!"

"Our dining experience @ Brasserie Jo is sometimes wonderful- this time, not so much. Our waiter left us alone far too long to order. Our appetizers- smoked salmon and also escargot- were wonderful; however, the entrees of steak and fish were quite bland, and my husband felt his steak quite tasteless. We chose not to order from the fixed price menu. Finally, we ordered the profiteroles to share for desert- our favorite; instead, we were brought a large, bland cream puff. Something has changed with the cuisine, and it is not an improvement. One pleasing note; we returned after our show in pouring rain and the valet found me waiting in the lobby to let us know that our car would be next. Great service from him!"
