Mon Ami Gabi is a classic French bistro and steakhouse. The traditional menu features classics such as the warm Onion Soup Au Gratin, Frisée & Bacon Salad with a soft-poached egg and croutons, Roast Chicken grand-mère style with mushrooms, bacon and pearl onions, as well as the trademark Steak Frites. At lunch, we offer lighter fare including crepes, quiches and seasonal salads. Come in Saturday and Sunday for our weekend brunch, featuring a Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar!
To complement the cuisine, an extensive selection of over 80 boutique French wine varietals are served by the glass or bottle from our signature rolling wine cart.
Please Note: Reservations are taken for indoor seating only. Outdoor seating is available on first-come, first-serve bases.

"The service is always good and the food reliable. Mon Ami has been a favorite of my families for celebrations. The salads are fresh, the fries are some of the best!"

The lifestyle and food culture celebrated on an estancia, a large South American vineyard estate, is the inspiration for Victor Albisu’s flagship restaurant in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The airy, 174-seat agrarian space is home to a meat-driven, wine-centric menu that is a product of Albisu’s Latin American roots and travels throughout Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay.

"Service was very slow. I'm not sure if it was on purpose to give you the laid back South American feel or not. After ordering drinks, it took 15 minutes for them to arrive. Two people in our party ordered hangar steak, one was too raw to eat. All of the sides were delicious, the donuts were average. It is very expensive for what one gets."
