AKASHA restaurant/bar/cafe features New American cuisine offering comfort food with big flavors and sustainable ingredients, for carnivores and herbivores alike. Chef/Caterer Akasha Richmond brings visionary cuisine to her own neighborhood eatery located in the historic Hull Building in downtown Culver City. Keeping the principles of sustainability in mind, the building's original steel, wood, concrete and brick arches were restored while the design materials pair with a seventies modernity to exude an inviting and lively atmosphere. The artisan bakery has both sweet and savory selections, as well as locally roasted fair trade coffee. The 20-seat bar highlights fresh juice cocktails, organic and premium spirits, beer and wine. The entire menu is available for catering or to go.

The food is plainly some of the best Mediterranean cuisine in Los Angeles. There is an award winning wine list from all over the world including an unparalleled selection of Greek wines. The entrees are impeccably fresh and light. The signature of the house, delectable baby rack of lamb simply melts in your mouth and the daily fish specials are hand picked by the owners each morning.
A meal can also easily be made from the incredible selection of Mezedes (appetizers) and salads. Come let Le Petit Greek bathe you in the warmth and flavor of the magical Greek Islands.
It will beckon you to return again and again.

"I come here again and again because the food and service never get old. MB Post is one of the better places on the westside to grab a bite. Plus, you can take a walk on the pier afterward. Top notch, convivial atmosphere."

At Sotto, Chefs Zach and Steve deliver an honest, market-driven menu of regionally-inspired Southern Italian dishes, including fresh housemade pastas and Neapolitan pizza cooked in an artisan wood burning oven. This wood burning oven was built onsite by Neapolitan craftsmen with traditional techniques that have been passed on from generation to generation and is the first of its kind in the Los Angeles area.

Our food is complemented by a fresh, seasonally relevant cocktail program with a strong background in the classics and the utilization of lesser known Italian liqueurs. We also offer an eclectic list of boutique wines from both Italy and California.

"First - service here was top notch, very friendly, welcoming, everything many LA restaurants are NOT. So kudos to them. I went here two different times in a week. The first time was one of the best dining experiences I've had in LA this last year, the second didn't live up to the first. The 2nd time, it felt like the salt shaker was broken in the back some of the time, some bites of both the pizza and the pasta were just way too salty. But when they are on, they are ON. I will go back."
