"Though the food is very good at Le Penguin that's where the pleasant experience ends. When we arrived at the small restaurant the four of us were seated at a small bistro table in the middle of the room. I can't tell you how many times we were knocked into by waiters and customers walking by. When I asked to move the hostess told us it wasn't possible even though another table for four opened up. Also, the servers need to slow down when clearing the table. My husband and I hadn't finished our drinks and they were whisked away they also attempted to clear our dinner dishes while we were still eating. I know at ten o'clock they start loud music and I guess they wanted us out of there to make room for the next crowd."

l'escale, which means "port of call", is a restaurant seemingly lifted from glorious Provence and brought back to Earth on the waterfront of Greenwich, CT. l'escale serves an inventive Provencal menu in an atmosphere that captures the warm sun, sea breezes & evocative scents of Southern France. <br />

"Sitting outside beautiful view of Greenwich harbor. We had the chopped salad with chicken which was very good. Never went for brunch but heard it was very good except that they charge you for coffee. Overall lovely restaurant"
