"I had the duck and my husband had the chicken. Both were very good. Our only complaint was we felt a bit rushed by the grumpy waiter. We no sooner finished our appetizers when our dinner arrived. Other then that, everything else
was very enjoyable.

Lexington Square Cafe invites guests into a vast space that combines cosmopolitan chic with a friendly atmosphere. Its distinct decor exudes elegance and warmth, so it accommodates the needs of its patrons, formal and informal. A spacious main dining room with a 17-foot high ceiling and different tiers provides guests with various dining niches. Cherry wood wine racks, alabaster lighting and a grand, sweeping staircase add to Lexington Square's sumptuousness. An upstairs, warm dining room with butternut squash walls and cozy booths is perfect for those who prefer a little more intimacy. Still another option during the warmth of spring, summer and fall is a private, flowery patio for casual al fresco dining. Chef Gerald Alcin has created a menu that has "SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE". The most popular items on his menu are Thai Lettuce Wraps, Grilled Lobster "Mojito", Chopped Salad(#1 Seller), King Salmon Club, Sesame Crusted Sea Scallops & 20oz. Brown Sugar Rubbed Shell Steak.

The raw talent, experience, and passion of two young people is the foundation for South End, a neighborhood restaurant and gathering place in the charming town of New Canaan. Chef/Owner Nick Martschenko and General Manager Michelle Cooper bring seasonal comfort food and inspired libations together with an atmosphere that is casual, familiar, and befitting of a small urbane town.

The design combines the old with the new. Rustic hardware elements are set against reclaimed barn wood paneling, and light fixtures are antique in design, while utilizing a more contemporary flare. Beige Italian linen drapes are complimented by contrasting black tufted linen upholstered banquette seating. Oversized color prints of a misty countryside and farm animals are a nod to Chef’s sustainable food practices.
"Very hard to rate this restaurant as the manager was very rude from the start! My friend and I arrived a few minutes before our husbands., but he would not seat us until our "whole party" arrived. Really? What did he think two sixty year old women were going to do ...eat the bread and run?? Also very pricey for okay food as well as extremely noisy! Will not be back."

Executive chef/partner Floyd Cardoz (North End Grill, Tabla) brings his bright, flavorful cooking to White Street, a new modern American restaurant from authors and media entrepreneurs Dan Abrams and Dave Zinczenko along with Christine Cole, a New York restaurant veteran.

"Went there for our daughters birthday and everything was terrific. Started with tuna poke, burratta and squid ink pasta... All very good and interesting. For main course we all had the sea bream... Very delicious. The sticky toffee pudding dessert was the highlight though! Recommend White Street for a fun evening with wonderful service."
