"Second time dining at The Inn and won't be back. Food was just okay. Waitress was pushy and nosy interrupting our conversation with her opinion several times. The topper was when the valet had us walk and get our own car....seriously? But our review won't hurt this restaurant...it was jam packed with folks wanting "the experience"."

Barolo Wine Bar & Trattoria is located on Main St. in New Canaan. We offer authentic Italian cuisine with a menu that celebrates the Piedmontese tradition. Our pizzas and pastas are made from scratch, in-house every day and our salumi, hand selected directly from Italy. Our dining room offers a full menu from 5pm and our bar area, open late, serves up thin crust pizzas, fresh shellfish, and other bar bites all night long. At Barolo Trattoria & Wine Bar, a glass half full just means it's time for one more. Come enjoy one with us.

"Delicious freshly made cheeses and the best fresh pasta we have had since Italy. The only complaint is that the tables for two are so close together that we felt we were a part of the conversation of the couples on either side of us."

"My husband and I dined on Saturday night at six thirty...lucky to get a reservation! We started with the pizza which tasted good but crust was a little soggy. I had scallops for main course and my husband had the pork chop...both very good. The highlight was the Carmel sundae for dessert. Though the waitress was lovely, we felt a bit rushed to order. Maybe a seating issue. Also, the valet decided we should get our own car because there was a backup of cars waiting to park. Not a good thing. Overall I would recommend restaurant but wait until hype dies down."

"I had the burratta appetizer and my husband had a Caesar salad...both were very tasty. We had freshly made pasta as main course. Very delicious!! Service was very attentive. Can't wait to go back and try more of their dishes."

"A great restaurant for delicious food. I had the chickpea salad with burrata and the scallops with risotto. Both were very tasty. Looking forward too returning!"

"Went there for my daughters birthday and had very enjoyable experience. Only complaint is bar serves very "skimpy cocktails" I had the duck schnitzel which was delicious! My husband had the pork and my daughter had the salmon, both delicious."
