If you need an evening in the Greek islands, visit our more upscale, white tablecloth Greek Restaurant specializing in Seafood. Our very comfortable, elegant environment is not as touristy as our neighbors and is especially warm and inviting by the fireplace on a cold night. In the heart of Greektown, SANTORINI stands out with its authentic Greek cooking and seafood with a Greek flair. The menu contains more than 20 seafood options flown in fresh daily. Hallmark entrees include Greek Style Whole Red Snapper and Whole Black Sea Bass, filleted by table-side at your request.

"The Trumpet fish Sushi was presented in a large shallow bowl heaped with shaved ice. The head and long trumpet snout were stuck in the ice upward at a rakish angle. White twigs with fuscia blossoms next to/behind the fish head, the body of the fish (the sushi already sliced off) curled around the rim. The sushi was displayed on the ice accompanied by very thin slices of lemon, strings of raw daikon radish, a a small dish of ponzu sauce. The presentation was very artful, the sushi delicate and flavorful, the ponzu sauce exquisite.
Service was gracious, quiet, and most helpful in making selections from the menu, especially important since my wife does not eat raw fish.
When in Chicago again we definitely will return."

"Disappointing experience. Will not return.
Service/customer relations make or break a dining experience more than food or ambience for us. The place was mostly empty when we arrived and for about 30 minutes after. Staff stood talking to each other for several minutes before acknowledging our presence, and we're not welcoming when they did greet us. The server ignored our responses to her perfunctory hello and delivered a memorized spiel ignoring our questions. Three times a specific request was met with "we can't do that" and no alternative was offered. I make it a point to be friendly, pleasant, empathetic of wait staff and always receive friendly service with smiles. The buss boys were customer service oriented. The waitress smiled only when delivering the check.
This restaurant advertises itself as giving that French experience. After visiting Paris, Provence, Dordone, Brittony, the Loir valley and Normandy for 5 weeks last spring (and eating every meal out) Ivan say unequivocally that at no time did I experience service or attitude at this low level. The food was so so, and unlike the fish and vegetables I remember fondly in France last year.
One positive note: the chef cooked the salmon to exactly the rare state I ordered. The flan was good. The caramel sauce shortbread flavors and "fromage" ice cream clashed for us.
There are three other restaurants in the immediate neighborhood on the same street within blocks of this one that provide better service and the food either more standard or more inventive (depending on the dish ordered) in preparation and presentation. I will continue to make repeat visits to these other restaurants where I have always had a great experience."

Cassis American Brasserie brings to downtown St. Petersburg a concept of “Continental Comfort Cuisine” in the tradition of European Brasseries, yet with the relaxed flair of American eateries and a feeling of “always been there”.

Zinc top bar, dark mahogany wood, oversized framed mirrors, hand-painted three tone cement floor tiles, chocolate brown leather banquettes and booths; Cassis offers casual eating in a comfortable environment.

The dining room opens onto an outdoor terrace displaying a bistro area in the tradition of Parisian style cafes and a dining section in the South Beach style with colorful offset umbrellas.

Open seven days a week for lunch, and dinner, week-end brunch and throughout the day for light fares, coffee, home-made ice cream and desserts, Cassis American Brasserie is an ideal destination for quick bites or leisurely meals.

IN 1983, Karl & Ursula Selinger of Neustadt an der Weinstrasse, Germany in the Rhineland Pfalz opened The Old Stein Inn to serve the finest German cuisine. They decided to locate in Anne Arundel County just 8 miles south of Annapolis in Edgewater Maryland. The Old Stein has a traditional Biergarten to give neighbors a place to enjoy al fresco dining with friends and family. The ten German taps pour an unparalleled selection of beer. The Old Stein has been featured on "The Best Of Show" on the Food Network and has won multiple awards for the Munster Cheese & Crab Soup and the Apple Cheesecake.
The Old Stein is no run-of-the-mill chain restaurant. Diners come from all over the Mid-Atlantic (or right around the corner) to this family-owned, Maryland gem to enjoy fun, food, friends—and, or course, a cold brew in a gemütlichkeit atmosphere. Eins, Zwei, Drei, G"suffa!

Created by renowned Executive Chef Barry Koslow, Pinea serves contemporary European dishes with a focus on France, Italy and Spain. An exceptional selection of local vegetables and seasonal meats and seafood are enhanced by flavor profiles popular in these regions—citrus; fresh herbs, including lavender and rosemary; and curated olive oils. Feast on such menu highlights as handmade pastas and housemade spice blends, along with impeccably fresh and carefully sourced seafood like whole grilled branzino. Share bold dishes inspired by Italy’s merenda (afternoon snack): roasted serrano ham-wrapped figs with blue cheese, as well as pissaladiere topped with caramelized onions, black olives and boquerones.
Complement your plate with an esoteric wine from a southern European region such as Campania, Valencia or Languedoc Roussillon, or a unique craft cocktail or beer.

"We make 2-3 trips a year to DC and always eat at Oyamel. Guacomole is superb, tapas inventive and delicious. Service is friendly prompt and personable. Eclectic crowd of young Washington profesdionals, some adventurous tourists and some singles. High energy crowd. We have tried most things on the menu and all of the food we have tried is excellent."
