Del Frisco's Grille DC is situated in the heart of the nation’s capital between the US Capitol and the White House on one of America’s most iconic roads – Pennsylvania Avenue. The Grille sits along wide, tree-lined sidewalks that brim with the energy of locals who live and work in the neighborhood as well as visitors from all over the globe. The menu offers a wide variety of selections to savor or share with friends. The expansive patio is the perfect location for alfresco dining and an amazing vantage point to capture the activity of this vibrant area.

"Everything about Del Frisco's Grille was perfect. From the greeting at the door to the salutations upon leaving, everything was perfect. Everybody was exceptionally friendly and pleasant. And, let's focus on the reason you're there...the FOOD. Wow! Just wow! I had the mesquite pork chop and my husband had the sesame crusted Ahi tuna. We actually ended up switching plates! The corn chowder was phenomenal and the chicken wing lollipops were just right. We couldn't fit dessert but we'll definitely be back so maybe next time!"

A classic American gathering place, the District Chophouse & Brewery is conveniently located 1/2 block South of The Verizon Center. We pride ourselves in serving the city's finest handcrafted beers and succulent steaks, mouthwatering chops, tasty seafood, and over-sized salads. Once you've eaten here, you'll agree the 'DC' stands for District Chophouse.

"The good: our server was pretty good. Very friendly & welcoming. She didn't ask what salad dressing my husband wanted so he ended up w/ the same as me. She also didn't ask to ensure how he wanted his Ahi Tuna steak cooked. It was very under-done to his usual preference. It had to go back for a few more minutes on the grill. We never had to ask for drink refills, they just showed up when she noticed our glasses about 1/3 full.
The excellent: iron skillet cornbread! Best part of the meal was free!
The not so good: the calamari appetizer was, IMO, previously frozen...it was chewy. My stuffed pork chop was just ehh. The next day when a friend asked what I had to eat I had to seriously think about it for a minute to recall what I'd ordered.
