Acadiana offers the flavors, culture and the warmth of the seductive southern region. They offer the perfect balance of the old and new...taking advantage of the rich bounty found in the Mississippi Delta, Bayous and the Gulf of Mexico.

"Wow, what an impressive meal! First, the drink. I had the Basil Blue. Holy smokes, it was really, really good. Next, I don't like oysters. Blech. But our server Alice was so outstanding at her job, I ordered their appetizer of charbroiled oysters. They were so good I asked to take home the half-shells so I could make them at home myself! Their biscuits with butter and hot pepper jelly? So, so delicious. However, what I think impressed me most was Alice. She was the most informative about the menu and how dishes were prepared. After listening to her, I went with my original choice and ordered the Red Snapper. If the place wasn't so fancy(ish), I would have picked up my plate and licked it. Alice said it'd been OK if I had! Wowzer! It was freaking fantastic. My husband tried the spicy crusted tuna. It was Wowzer, too! He was stuffed but I paced myself and saved a cm for dessert and ordered the pecan tart. At first, I thought it was so-so but then after a few spoonfuls, I really tucked into it and didn't offer to share! Without a doubt, this meal was in my top 5 of all time. I can't wait for family and friends to visit from out of town so we can take them to Acadiana. My mouth is already watering thinking about what I'll try next...but definitely the Basil Blue and Oysters, for sure! And, hopefully Alice is still there next time....I'll specifically ask for her, too."

"Everything about Del Frisco's Grille was perfect. From the greeting at the door to the salutations upon leaving, everything was perfect. Everybody was exceptionally friendly and pleasant. And, let's focus on the reason you're there...the FOOD. Wow! Just wow! I had the mesquite pork chop and my husband had the sesame crusted Ahi tuna. We actually ended up switching plates! The corn chowder was phenomenal and the chicken wing lollipops were just right. We couldn't fit dessert but we'll definitely be back so maybe next time!"
