Will Artley brings more than a decade of restaurant experience to his position as Executive Chef at Pizzeria Orso. Artley made his national television debut as a cheftestant on Food Network’s Chopped in November 2012, and since his arrival at Pizzeria Orso, has helped secure a spot as one of the top “50 Best Restaurants” in Northern Virginia by Northern Virginia Magazine in both 2012 and 2013. Additionally Pizzeria Orso has been honored with numerous accolades including Northern Virginia Magazine’s Best of NoVA 2013 for both Best Chef and Best Italian Restaurant, and Best Pizza in Falls Church News-Press’ Best of Falls Church 2013. Artley’s playful personality pairs well with his extensive culinary talents in presenting some of the most celebrated Neapolitan style pizza and inventive globally-inspired small plates available in the DC area.

"I'm now considered a regular here, although at different times. Latest visit was Sunday brunch which features a more limited menu than during the week. Still, plenty from which to choose. Pizza still the best, but also ordered an item not featured on Sundays (but included on weekly menu) and kitchen accommodated - yea!. Was a very busy Sunday (end of restaurant week), Chef Will in attendance (and entertaining a variety of family groups), so glad I booked on Open Table. Service good, food terrific as always. Staff engaging but no unctuous. Am always recommending this place. Falls Church is lucky to have Chef Will and Pizzeria Orso!"

Jeffrey and Sallie Buben's Woodward Table, housed in the historic Woodward Building is a concept that exudes a timeless feel with neighborhood charm. Located just one block from The White House, Woodward presents a "table" of dining possibilities with two eateries...the main restaurant with its creative and diverse American menu and Woodward Takeout Food, a sprite artisanal alternative for breakfast and lunch. The soul of Woodward Table's cooking involves creating seasonal iconic American dishes, a chef's contemporary approach and a regional repertoire of ingredients. Woodward Takeout Food, aka WTF, adjacent to the restaurant, creates a quick serve American breakfast or lunch for the busy Washingtonian, available to eat in or take out. Woodward Takeout Food is like being in a good cook's kitchen...a venue of sights and sounds with the bakery of the entire restaurant located at one end. Smell the fresh baked bread and other concoctions as you place your ord

"I booked late-day (115p) coincidentally, during "Restaurant Week." Explains the very high noise level. Desk (host) staff was right on top of things, found me at the bar (less than stellar service for a single glass of wine order) when the rest of my party arrived, and sat us in a relatively quiet corner. As the crowd diminished so did the noise level. Table service was excellent - very knowledgeable about ALL dishes. Recommended trout that I normally would have avoided - it was terrific! Steak tartare appetizer was fab and recommend even to those who avoid such a dish. Overall, terrific food and table service. Bar service needs work. Food very good! Definitely worth a visit. Go late lunch or early dinner. NoVA folks, Metro to McPherson."

The Smoking Goat serves up French & American countryside fare using highest quality meat, and local produce. Our service is casual. We carry a carefully chosen beer and wine list at a range of price points. The small space offers a most unique and enjoyable experience to our guests.

"I'm an East Coaster who dined at The Smoking Goat during recent visit to family in San Diego. Food was absolutely terrific. From somewhat limited menu (about 8-10 entres), everyone can find something to like. I chose grouper -- done to perfection, on a bed of pureed root vegetables. A fellow diner chose squash ravioli -- also excellent. Wait staff very informative, not intrusive, and prices very reasonable. There's a short by-the-glass wine list, but also a more extensive one which included my favorite Italian white (I was also recommended another Italian wine which the wine guy wrote down for future reference). Visitors to San Diego should make the trip into North Park for this restaurant. Well worth a rental car or cab ride."
