Tucked away atop Nob Hill, Venticello Ristorante, is one San Francisco’s best kept secrets. With quaint tables, a wood burning oven and views of the bay, Venticello provides a warm intimate atmosphere that is reminiscent of a Tuscan Farmhouse.
Recognized as one of the most romantic restaurants in San Francisco, we are located just a few blocks away from the historical Mark Hopkins and Fairmont Hotels, as well as walking distance from the Huntington Hotel, The Stanford Court, and the Ritz- Carlton Hotel.
As you walk into Venticello, you will enter our upstairs area. Our full and complete wooden bar is supplied with an array of distilled spirits as well as some of the finest Italian and Californian wines. This allows you and your guests to enjoy a variety of beverages while hearing the Cable Car bell ring just outside our front door.
Venticello, meaning soft breeze, will sweep you and your guests away with an unforgettable experience.

"We had to wait and we would have waited a long time if several tables did not go to nearby concert (they left abruptly). Service was slow and attention to detail was poor. Takes too long to get a drink or a refill. Tables are VERY close together so no private conversations or romantic time. Noise level is the highest of all Nob Hill places.
Despite all that, food is great and they have full bar. Wine list is limited, but plenty of choices of good bottles and styles. Pasta homemade.

The flavors of Milano's food and the rhythm of the dining room are reminiscent of trattorias in Italy's cities, according to Gourmet Magazine. It is a charming, intimate restaurant with an Italian staff, top quality ingredients, homemade pastas, exceptional veal, polenta, risotto, and fresh seafood delivered daily, served in warm surroundings. Known as the "hidden jewel of Russian Hill" The San Francisco Chronicle calls Milano "one of the most consistent restaurants in the city".

"Book early as late reservations can run 20-30 minutes late. They really overbook. Food is great as is service. The rest is below average. Parking nearly impossible so cab it."

Located off the lobby of The Scarlet Huntington hotel, the Big 4 Restaurant is a true culinary experience set in a club-like ambiance-with contemporary American cuisine, a classic bar, live piano music nightly and rich in San Francisco history. Set in an elegant early California decor, rich green leather banquettes and sparkling beveled glass surround an incomparable collection of Gold Rush and Western Railroad memorabilia. Guests enjoy the heady ambiance while savoring perennial favorites from renowned Chef Kevin Scott, who brings a wealth of creativity to the menu with his focus on locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients. The Big 4 Restaurant is a true local favorite--a San Francisco culinary gem.

In 1983, Café Luxembourg opened its doors to become the quintessential neighborhood bistro of the Upper West Side. The dining room of this charming 90 seat restaurant glows in the warm light of the Jean Perzel fixtures and antique mirrors.

Located on 70th Street just west of Broadway, Café Luxembourg entertains New Yorkers and celebrities alike. The full service bar is home to many regulars. The lively buzz of the dining room is inviting and intimate. The frequency of dining customers is testament to the sincere efforts by the entire Café Luxembourg staff.

The menu changes seasonally as well as offering daily specials. The classic menu dishes maintain a level of cooking on par with the city’s best restaurants. Café Luxembourg offers beautifully prepared food with professional, yet unpretentious service at reasonable prices.
The Bayou: Southern Kitchen & Bar is a small local restaurant that offers a creative take on classic New Orleans cooking. The menu is meant to be a shared experience, like eating at the home of a good friend. Pick and choose a mixture of items to satisfy your different tastes and share them amongst the table. Pair your meal with a perfectly mixed cocktail or one of our 24 craft beers. Sit back and savor your meal, and enjoy the music. There's never a need to rush when you're at The Bayou. And don't forget to say hi to Mo & Cristian, the two are always around, and couldn't be happier to welcome you to their southern kitchen.

"Food and service continue to improve. Fried chicken yum! Do not order carrot/arugula salad..too ordinary compared to rest of menu choices. And owners need to work on noise control...too hard to have a conversation!"

Our unique blend of Asian, French and Mediterranean cuisine, combined with our personal and attentive service will make your visit to Grille 3501 an event to remember.
