ChiGuy's Reviews

Suzette's is a cozy French Bistro specializing in both sweet and savory crepes and hearty bistro fare. Our wine list features all French wine. Attached to the restaurant is a French-inspired boulangerie and patisserie. Everyday Afternoon Tea is served. Suzette's pleasure is to provide excellent food and wine in a comfortable atmosphere that encourages our clientele to have a relaxing dining experience. In the summer the dining room extends to an outdoor patio filled with plants, flowers and fountain. Live Jazz Friday nights is reminiscent of the Hot Jazz Clubs of Paris. Located close to Wheaton College and in the heart of Historic Downtown Wheaton , Suzette's is a destination for dining.

"Maybe it was because Donna was not in the restaurant that night, but the service was just not as good as usual. The food was very good, but the menu has not changed in years - maybe it's time for some new items. We had a very nice dinner/evening, and will certainly be back, but we did not leave WOWED, like we usually do."

The setting and ambiance are classic Hollywood from the 1930s and '40s, but the culinary experience is truly fine contemporary dining. With USDA prime beef and delicious seafood creations, plus rich pastas, fresh salads, piano lounge and an award-winning selection of wine, it's no wonder Final Cut is the best casino fine dining restaurant. Make sure to ask about our private dinning room on your next visit

"Very good restaurant...both food and ambiance, but our dinner took way too long! This was my second time to eat here, and might be my last. You'd expect a restaurant in a casino to get you in and out in fairly short order, but our dinner lasted almost 2.5 hours...and not because we were taking our time. Our server was very good, but she was apparently covering most of the restaurant...and it too much too long to get our food, which suggests that the kitchen is understaffed too."

Big and Bustling, Shaw's Crab House stands as a monument to fish and seafood. Besides the usual popular dishes, Shaw's management team is passionate about presenting treats such as Pacific salmon, fresh king crab, and smelt during their short seasons. Reservations made through Open Table will be for Shaw's Main Dining Room. If you would like to dine in the Oyster Bar, all seating is on a first come first serve basis.

"We tried this restaurant for the first time...largely because they were offering 1000 Open Table points. However, we will now go back despite the extra points! The food and the service were very good! Almost too attentive at first (seemed like someone was always at our table), but overall a very good experience. And, the waiter was very helpful in helping us make our eating decisions. We will definitely be back...nice to have something new in the west suburbs!"

"This was our first time here and I might be inclined to go back just for the convenience of the casion, but the experience we had did not really justify the money we spent. The service was very slow - they seemed to be short on help, but never once an apology. The food was good, but I did not think that the prices were justified. Rivers and Four Winds do a much better job with their steak houses."
